Halloween Trio

Happy Halloween! ๐ŸŽƒ DT Annalisa here, and today I’m sharing my fourth and final handmade Halloween card of the season! This project features a bright alcohol ink background and the adorable Spooky Circle Tags from Time For Tea Designs.

To create the background, I used Ranger alcohol inks, Yupo paper, Ranger blending solution, 99% isopropyl alcohol, and the Tim Holtz Ink Air Blower. The colours I went with are Ranger Indigo, Flamingo, and Amethyst.

Once the Yupo paper was dry, I die-cut it using the Sweet Scalloped Dies and attached it to a card base with liquid glue.

Next, I coloured the Spooky Circle Tags and candy images with Copic markers, then added a few white gel pen accents for extra pop. The stars are from Santa’s Nice List, and the sentiment comes from the Haunted House stamp set. I adhered all the elements with liquid glue.

For a touch of sparkle, I used a Quickie Glue Pen along the edges of a few images and sprinkled on some Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter. ✨

Too Cute to Spook Cuties

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here today! We’re just one week away from Halloween, and I’m back with another cute and spooky handmade card featuring digital stamps and dies from Time For Tea Designs. ๐ŸŽƒ

I started by using two Rounded Corner Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut a frame from some plaid-patterned paper in my stash. For the background, I blended Wilted Violet Distress Watercolour Pencil with a few sprays of Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide. Once I was happy with the blend, I heat-set the panel and trimmed it down to 3¼" x 4¾" so it would fit neatly behind my plaid frame.

Next, I used the larger of the two rounded corner dies to create my card base, then adhered the background panel with liquid glue.

For the sentiment, I chose the Too Cute To Spook sentiment dies. I cut the phrase twice, once from white cardstock and once from black. I coloured the white layer with a purple Copic marker and added a shimmer mist to the black layer for extra sparkle. To make the sentiment pop, I glued the two layers slightly offset, then attached it to the card front with liquid glue.

To bring my Halloween scene to life, I used the Spooky Circle Tags Clear Stamp Set for the candy and the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection for the cat and pumpkin. I cut out all the images using my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e, then coloured them with Copic markers and added highlights using a white gel pen for extra detail.

Finally, I arranged the stamped images on my background, securing them in place with a mix of liquid glue and double-sided foam tape to add some fun dimension.

Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my latest project. ๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿงก

Halloween Night Kitty

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! I’m sharing a sparkly Halloween card using the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection and the Too Cute To Spook sentiment dies. These work well together to create seasonal cards.

I created the background using watercolour paper, a moon stencil, and Distress Spray Stains. I added temporary adhesive to the moon mask, then used Uncharted Mariner, Mermaid Lagoon, and Lost Shadow Distress Spray Stains. Next, I sprayed Snow Flurries Mica Stain for sparkle.

I removed the mask and blended Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide and Lemon Drop by Gina K Designs. I spritzed water on the background, letting some blue ink bleed over the moon for a spooky effect. I used a stitched rectangle die to trim the panel, and stuck it to a black card base using liquid glue.

Next, I used Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet Distress watercolour pencils on watercolour paper. To create the effect, I softened the pencils in water, scribbled them on a craft mat, and spritzed the ink with water. I pressed the watercolour paper into the ink and then heat-set the ink with a heat gun in between. I repeated this process until I had a textured panel, which I then die-cut using the Too Cute To Spook sentiment dies.

I also cut the sentiment from black cardstock and glued it behind the purple sentiment, slightly offset. I used liquid glue to adhere the sentiment to the card base.

I printed the pumpkin and kitty from the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection and cut out the images with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e. The porcupine, leaves, acorn, and pine cone are from Jumping With Joy, which I die-cut with the coordinating dies. I coloured all of the images with my Copic markers and adhered them to the card base with liquid glue.

Halloween Night Sky

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here today. Halloween is quickly approaching, so I am sharing a spooky night scene card. This time of year it is always fun to create bold scenes with colours I rarely use for backgrounds like purple! I created this nighttime scene using the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection with the Haunted House clear stamp set.

For the background, I used a circle mask in my stash and sprayed temporary adhesive to attach it to watercolour paper. I spritzed the paper with water and sprayed uncharted mariner Distress Spray Stain, I used my Ranger Heat It tool to dry the panel. Next, I added snow flurries Distress Mica Stain spray and once again dried this with my heat tool. I removed the moon mask and gently spritzed the side of the moon with water to create that 'spooky' moon look. I dried the panel with my heat tool, I find it is vital to dry the panel after spraying it with stains or water. I just love how mica stains really make things pop!

For the ground, I ink-blended villainous potion and black soot Distress Oxides. I then used a silver shimmer spray on top of this and dried it with my heat tool. I die-cut it using the Slimline Hillside Scene Dies. I created a 5-inch by 6 3/4-inch card base and used liquid glue to adhere the panels. I ink-blended squeezed lemonade and scattered straw Distress Ink onto the moon area.

I resized the cat on the broom digi in Photoshop and printed it on Neenah Solar White 80 lb card stock. I stamped the sentiment and haunted house (I masked certain areas of the stamps to get the look I wanted). I used my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e to cut out the images, coloured everything with my Copics and added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. I also used the Gelly Roll Pen to add stars to the sky.

I used liquid glue to stick everything down to the card base. I ink-blended black soot Distress Oxide to the edges of the card to complete it.

Trick or Treat!

Happy Saturday Teatimer's I have another Halloween card for today using the Hello Cupcake Stamp Set by masking out the strawberry and drawing in an eyeball it gives out a whole different feel to my card.
I coloured in the image using copic markers and then added some dripping blood using a red gelly roll pen. I love how it turned out. Since the eyeball was smaller than the strawberry I could also cut it out using the coordinating die and then  fussy cut around the eyeball.
For the base of my card I used the Geometric Snowflakes Die and cut out two and layered them over the top of each other to add some depth. I then used this as a template to cut out a rectangle a bit bigger than that one and inked it up with yellow and green distress oxide ink and splattered some purple over the top.
I let this dry and then adhered them together alongside the cupcake in the middle. Then all that was left was the lettering for which I used Anthony's Alpha Dies and coloured it in using purple distress oxide inks. After adhering these together I felt like it was missing something so used the coordinating dies from the Spooktacular Stamp Set to cut out some bats from black card and just added some little eyes using white gelly roll pen and that was my card finished up.
I hope you like it and don't forget to keep checking back for more inspiration from the rest of the team. Also if you would like to purchase any of the items in the Time for Tea Shop you can get 10% off your order using code T4TNATALIE10.

Love you a Latte!

Happy Saturday Teatimer’s hope you have had a great week. It’s DT member Natalie here with a sweet Pumpkin Spiced Latte Halloween card. I had so much fun with this one as I’m sure you can tell. I really enjoy playing around with the Take Out Coffee Cup Dies and I’ve done a few different scenes with it including a Black Forest Hot Chocolate winter scene and a Very Berry Summer themed card as well which you can also find on the blog. It’s just so versatile it’s also super easy to turn into a shaker card as well as you can see in my tutorial for the Black Forest Hot Chocolate card.

I used the Snow Flurry Die to create my background and ink blended a range of pink and purple distress oxide inks. To which I added some clouds using the Cloud Dies and the Windmill Add on Die Set. For the outline clouds I added some velum behind to add a soft texture.

I added some black grass using the Slimline Hillside Dies and then began on the coffee cup. I cut out the main body and did some ink smooshing with orange and brown distress oxides. Setting that aside to dry I cut out the rest of the elements.

For the stamped images I combined the Spooktacular, the little mouse from Hey There Critters and the toadstools from Life's Up's and Down's which is another great Autumn set. I coloured all the images up with Copic markers and die cut them all, except the big pumpkin which I fussy cut. the reason being I didn't want a white edge as I wanted it to look like it was part of the sleeve for the cup.

After adhering everything together I added some stars to the sky using a range of colours of gelly roll pens, they are great for just adding finishing touches to your card. I hope you like my card for this week don't forget to check back for more inspiration and if you want to purchase anything in the Time for Tea Shop you can get 10% off your orders using code T4TNATALIE10. Have a great weekend!

Happy Halloween Trick or Treaters

Happy Friday! I am sharing a cute Halloween card featuring the new Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection paired with the Halloween 2022 Digital Paper Collection from Time For Tea Designs.

I began by resizing the cute trick-or-treaters, banner and pumpkins so they would fit in the openings in the Stitched Window Cover Die. This is why I LOVE digital stamps, having the flexibility to resize images to suit your needs is priceless! I coloured them with my Copics and then cut them out with my Scan n Cut SDX125.

The sentiment is from the Haunted House Clear stamp set. I stamped and then coloured it with my copics and cut it out.

For the digital papers, I reduced the opacity by 50% (such a cool perk to digital papers!) so that they were a bit toned down so as not to take the focus away from the digital images.

I die-cut heavy white cardstock using the Stitched Window Cover Die. I created a 5 & 3/4 inch by 4 & 1/8 inch card base and used double-sided tape to stick down the patterned paper to the appropriate areas. I used liquid glue to stick down the stitched window on top of the patterned paper. I used double-sided tape and liquid glue to adhere the various elements to the card.

Halloween Haunted House

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa is here today sharing a Halloween scene featuring the brand new Haunted House Clear Stamp Set.

I love the large size of this haunted house, it is so fun to colour and takes up most of the card! I stamped the house and coloured it with my Copics. I then used a circle die that I had in my collection but one of the T4T Simple Circle Dies fits this stamp perfectly! I added some accents with a white Gelly Roll Pen.

I used the Square Label Dies to cut out two pieces of patterned paper from the new Halloween 2022 Digital Paper Collection. I used a dot runner to adhere the two pieces together and then to a card base. I used double-sided foam tape to adhere the haunted house circle and the sentiment to the card.

Too Cute to Spook!

Happy Saturday Teatimers it’s Design Team member Natalie here with a fun Halloween card to share with you today. I love making Halloween cards, I never send them but they are just so much fun. I used a combination of old and new stamps for this super cute card. I began by cutting out the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies then ink blended it with kitsch flamingo, dried marigold and picked raspberry distress oxides. Then I stencilled some clouds over the top with white pigment ink. Finishing up by adding some splatters of purple and green.
using black card I cut out another scalloped piece which I then cut my grass out of. I also cut out the tree from the Autumn Scene Cover Plate Dies and adhered them onto the base.
Then it was just my images to colour the ghosts are from the new Spooky Circle Tags set I just wanted the ghosts on their own so I fussy cut them out after adding a little grey to give them dimension with copics and some rosy cheeks. The pumpkins and Boo sentiment are from last years Spooktacular Clear Stamp Set. I never thought anymore about it till I had adhered it all but as the pumpkins were cut out with the matching dies they have a white border which I wish I had cut off.
The last thing I needed for my card was the Too Cute to Spook Sentiment Dies I cut the writing out of silver glitter card and the frame for it in dark purple. Then all was left to do was adhere it together. It was a quick card to make as there wasn't much colouring to do so great for quick cards. I hope you like it and if you want to pick up any of the products in the Time for Tea shop you can get 10% off your order using code T4TNATALIE10. Have a great weekend and I'll catch you later!
