Birthday Wishes

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here sharing a cupcake birthday card featuring the beautiful Big Birthday Wishes Large Sentiment Die and the cute mouse from the Birthday Bear Clear Stamp Set.

I sprayed Distress Mica Stain Cocktail Party onto watercolour cardstock, heat-set the ink, and then die-cut it with the Big Birthday Wishes Large Sentiment Die. I cut two more pieces of paper using the die and glued them together for added dimension.

I ink-blended squeezed lemonade Distress Oxide onto white cardstock using my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes. I then ink-blended abandoned coral Distress Ink through the Dancing Dandelions 6 x 6" Stencil. I used a stitched rectangle die to trim down the panel.

I used the A2 Layering dies to die-cut Neenah Metallic cardstock for the back panel, which I glued onto an A2 white cardstock card base. I die-cut vellum with the smaller Large Scallop Celebrate Frame Dies and used vellum adhesive to stick it to the card base.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) the mouse from the Birthday Bear stamp set and cut him out with the coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen

I used liquid glue to stick down the large sentiment to the card base. I added double-sided foam tape to the back of the mouse and cupcake and stuck him down so the candle was in place of the letter 'I' in the word wishes.

I used the tiny stars and circles in the  Open The Door Holiday Add-On Die Set to die-cut silver metallic paper. I used liquid glue to stick these down to the card to complete it.

You Had Me At Coffee

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here with another coffee-themed card - I have been on a roll for the last few weeks! I created this card using the large You Had Me At Meow Sentiment Dies that I adjusted to read 'You had me at coffee' by adding the Coffee Sentiment Die. It is always fun to get more use out of dies like this!

I used the Large Scallop Celebrate Frame Dies to cut out watercolour paper on which I ink blended ground espresso Distress ink through the Coffee Beans 6 x 6" Stencil. Next, I applied tea-dye Distress Oxide Spray and heat set the panel. I then added ground espresso Distress Ink splatter using water and a paintbrush.

I die-cut teal cardstock with the 'You had me at meow' and 'coffee' sentiment dies and then ink blended peacock feathers Distress Ink for a deeper colour. I ink smooshed ground espresso Distress Ink onto the coffee text for added texture. I die-cut vellum with the coffee shadow die and used liquid glue to adhere it to the 'coffee' text.

For the images on this card, I used Snappy Before Coffee (coordinating die set) and It's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like Christmas (coordinating dies) that I coloured with Copics and added white gel pen accents.

I die-cut the letters/text three times for dimension and glued them all together with liquid glue. I then used liquid glue to adhere all the elements to the card.

I added stickles for sparkle on the bottom of all the letters and some of the images.

“Because adulting is hard” coffee card

Hello crafty friends and welcome back to Time for Tea Designs blog. Silvia’s here today to share with you a coffee themed card!

I first die cut a panel with the largest die of the "Large Scallop Celebrate Frame" set from Distress Mixed Media Heavystock. I then used walnut stain Distress Oxide spray and tea dye and vintage photo Distress stain spray, water and heat gun to color it.

I then stamped 5 coffee cup from the “Coffee Lovers" stamp set, I colored them with alcohol markers, I cut them with coordinating dies and I heat embossed in white the cute “cream” heart from the same set.

I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and I matted it with one of the cute patterned paper from the "Sweet Summer" paper pad.
I ended my card adding a heat embossed sentiment on dark brown cardstock and that's all.

I hope you get some inspiration by this card and you like it.

Celebrate, Make a Wish!

Well Saturday has come around again quick Teatimers hope you all having a great bank holiday weekend. I shall be back at work Monday so making the most of my last two days off and the sun is out today too!

This week I wanted to build on my birthday card collection I never seem to have one when I need one you know. The new Birthday Bear Clear Stamp Set is perfect for this its such a cute set and doesn't have to be used for birthday. I stamped out my critters and coloured them up and tried to shade them so they look more 3-D you can see on the bear where I added darker browns under their chin and places I thought would be in shadow. Once coloured up I cut them out with the coordinating dies and left them to the side whilst I worked on the rest of the card.
I used the Large Scallop Celebrate Frame Dies to cut out the background and ink blended using a combination of Shaded Lilac, Dried Marigold and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Inks. I spritzed with water to add some texture and set aside to dry.
For the sentiments I white heat embossed the make a wish sentiment from the bear set and cut out using the matching dies. The celebrate is from the die set we used to cut out the base I cut it out twice using white and the same deep purple cardstock I used for the other part of the sentiment.
Once the base was dry I used the new Bokeh Bubbles 6x6 stencil with white pigment ink to create some circles just for some added interest. Again setting it aside to dry.
Once everything was dry I adhered everything together and finished up with some sequins and adhered it onto the same deep purple card stock and popped it onto my card base.
I hope you like my card and have a lovely weekend!

You are so sweet

Hello Tea Timers! Silvia's here today.

How adorable is this kitty with his big ice-cream?! I totally love him so much!!!

I started making my card cutting a rectangle from one of the beautiful patterned papers from the "Brighter Days" 6x6 paper pad and I cut a white panel using the biggest die from the "Large Scallop Celebrate Frame" set.

I then colored it mixing together speckled egg, salvaged patina and picked raspberry Distress spray stain.

I stamped the adorable kitty from the "Sundae Sweeties" stamp set, I colored him with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and I cut him with coordinating dies.

I put everything together and that's all.

I hope you'll enjoy this card and don't forget you can get a 10% off your Time for Tea order with the code T4TSILVIA10.

I wish you and amazing day. Hugs, Silvia.

Celebrate! It's your birthday!

Hello crafty friends! Today it's new release day here at Time for Tea Designs and it's a really yummy one!

Making my card I started ink blending a rectangle panel with the "Diamond Burst" stencil and squeezed lemonade Distress Oxide ink.

I then cut a white frame with the biggest die from the "Smile Inverted Scallop Frame" die set, I glued on the card base and I splattered with a bit of ground espresso Distress Oxide ink loosened with water.

I stamped images from the new "Hello Cupcake" stamp set, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I also die cute three times the "celebrate" word from the "Large Scallop Celebrate Frame" die set (two from white cardstock and one from white glitter cardstock). I glued them one above the others and I colored it with brown alcohol markers.

I put everything together with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape, I added a sentiment from the stamp set and that's all.

I hope you'll like this card and enjoy the new release 'cause it's really so sweet and adorable.
