You Are So Sweet

Hello all Tea Timers, Claudia here with a new inspiration, this time I wanted to color with pencils on craft paper and I chose these adrable little mice of the set  Hello Cupcake  and Sundae SweetiesI like the clean and simple effect.

I wanted to create a scene a little different, so I imagined these two little ones playing in the snow.

I stamped these two mice and added more cherries, I then created a snowy scene and with the white gel pen I emphasized the snow

Looks like a fun scene to me , hope you like it too!!!

I wish you a wonderful week and I remind you to use the code T4TCLAUDIA10 to get a 10% discount in the shop!

3D Ice Cream Card Video Tutorial

Hello Vic here today and I am sharing a fun video tutorial  with you all today. I thought it would be a fun idea to use a SVG cutting file for my card today as I know some of you have electronic die cutting machines. Plus I thought this card will go great with the Sundae Sweeties stamp set.

You can see the video tutorial here:

In the video I show you how I put the card together, once my card was made I stamped out the images I wanted to use. I stamped my images using the Sundae Sweeties Clear Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies. I love these critters they look ready to tuck into lots of ice cream! I used my copic markers to colour the images in and then I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I then added them onto my card using some foam tape. I popped the mice with the cherry at the top of the ice cream as I thought he would look super cute sat there.

For my sentiment I stamped out a greeting from the Treat Yourself Clear Stamp Set. This is one of my favourite stamp sets and I thought the greeting would go perfectlly with the card. I heat embossed my greeting using some White Embossing Powder. I heat set my sentiment with my heat gun then trimmed the sentiment down. I adhered my sentiment onto some acetate and popped this behind the front part of my card. This will make the sentiment look like it is floating. I love doing this tecnique on my cards.

This card also folds flat to fit in an envelope. There is also a piece of white card at the back of the second ice cream to write your sentiment.

I hope you enjoy the video tutorial today and it will inspire you to get your electronic cutting machines out. Thank you so much for watching the tutorial.

You can also save 10% off your Time For Tea Designs Purchases using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout. This includes all new release items too.

A super sweet velum shaker card

Happy Saturday Teatimer's hope you have all had a good week. I'm attempting to get all my summer themed cards made before Autumn creeps upon us. So what better summer theme than a whopper of an ice cream sundae. This card didn't turn out anything like I had planned at the beginning but I love how it turned out.

I started out by cutting out the A2 frame dies in white cardstock twice and once from white fun foam this enabled me to get the size of the panel of the background. For the background panel I used a mix of Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass and Kitsch Flamingo. It's a great way to practice your blending as it doesn't need to be perfect as you can only just see it behind the velum shaker. After this I adhered the white fun foam frame on top and added my shaker sprinkles inside then adhered the velum on top  and layered the last frame on top of that.
The letters are cut out of the same white card stock using Anthony's Alphas I added the letters at the top of the bottom so the cream would ground the image. The ice cream image is from the new Sundae Sweeties stamp set its super fun and being a bigger image great for practicing your colour skills. I coloured that up and the little mouse and the cherry when die cutting out the cherry and the little mouse I cut out another two of each using plain white card stock so that I could add a little extra dimension but I didn't want the thickness of the fun foam or the weight to make the velum sag.
I finished it off with some white heat embossed writing on black cardstock and popped them on top.
I love the subtleness of the of the shaker card it adds some extra detail without being the main focus of the card.
I hope you have a great weekend and like my card today and if you want to buy any of the products you can get 10% off in the shop using code T4TNATALIE10.

I am in love with this die, which as you know has two versions, one with the tulips vertically and another with tulips horizontally

I used these adorable mice that belong to two sets,  Hello Cupcake and Sundae Sweeties

As a background I chose this patterned card from the last release,    Sweet Summer Paper Pad this paper is one of my favorites!

So Sweet

Good afternoon crafty friends, DT Kitty here. As usual on a Thursday afternoon I am sharing my latest card. This week I created a box card with a cute scene...

So normally I would use one of my die sets to create this box shape but I actually wanted slightly different dimentions so I used it as a template then scaled it to the right size to create my own! They are still so easy to create and so much fun! I used the gorgeous cute mice from the Hello Cupcake & Sundae Sweeties. I coloured each of the images with Copics and die cut them using the coordinating dies. I created the background sky panel using the Scene It Stencil and a little Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink. I used the grass die from the Landscape Edge Dies to create each of the inner panels. I blended Twisted Citron & Mowed Ink Distress Oxide Inks onto each piece before assembling the box together. To finish I added a few Clear Drops.

That's all from me today. Don't forget you can get 10% off at Time For Tea Designs using the code T4TKITTY10. Thank you for joining me and will be back next Thursday with my nex creation.

You are so sweet

Hello Tea Timers! Silvia's here today.

How adorable is this kitty with his big ice-cream?! I totally love him so much!!!

I started making my card cutting a rectangle from one of the beautiful patterned papers from the "Brighter Days" 6x6 paper pad and I cut a white panel using the biggest die from the "Large Scallop Celebrate Frame" set.

I then colored it mixing together speckled egg, salvaged patina and picked raspberry Distress spray stain.

I stamped the adorable kitty from the "Sundae Sweeties" stamp set, I colored him with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and I cut him with coordinating dies.

I put everything together and that's all.

I hope you'll enjoy this card and don't forget you can get a 10% off your Time for Tea order with the code T4TSILVIA10.

I wish you and amazing day. Hugs, Silvia.

Sundae Sweeties

Hello tea timers, how are you all? Claudia here with a new inspiration using other elements of the new relese. I love alphabets and I think this one Anthony's Alpha Dies is really very versatile, as soon as I saw it I had so many ideas....  The first idea was to die-cut the whole alphabet to create a background

I wanted to emphasize the background by creating a shaker card and I chose one of the wonderful patterns from the new collection  Sweet Summer paper pad
With such an important background I needed an equally important stamp, I chose one of the images from the set  Sundae Sweeties

For the sentiment I used white embossing powder on black cardstock and I really like the result, I hope you like it too!!!
In the next inspiration I'll show you how I used the alphabet creating a stencil, see you next time!!!

Friend, sweet friend

Hello all tea timers how are you? Claudia here to tell you what I love most and that is ice cream!!! I have a weakness for ice cream, I would eat them every day and with this hot weather are ideal. That's why I loved the set Sundae Sweeties as soon as I saw it, it's adorable, isn't it?

I made the background of this card by stamping some words from some sets using white embossing powder and I shaded with two shades of Distress , then I die cut the word friend from the set Slimline Scallop Nesting
and I added the Sweet friend sentiment to complete the card.

Here is my inspiration for today, hope you like it, have a great week! Don't forget to use the code T4TCLAUDIA10 to get an AMAZING 10% off!

You're the cherry on top

  Good afternoon everyone,

Happy Sunday, Lyndsey here and today I'm sharing some more inspiration from our new summer release. I adore this image of the cute kitty from the Sundae Sweeties Set holding on to his massive ice cream, certainly makes me reminisce of my childhood when everything seemed bigger.  So this card is inspired by my recent holiday to beautiful Cornwall where I may or may not have partook in trying out a few of these delicious treats!🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

To start as always I stamped and coloured my images using my Spectrum Noir markers (colours listed below in order of lightest to darkest)

Cat  - GB1, GB3, GB5

Cone - LY2, LY1, LY3

Ice Cream - PP1, PP2, PP3

Cream - Blender, TN1, TN2

Mouse - EB1, EB2, GB8

Cherry - CR11, DR4, DR7

I wanted to create a bright and cheery background and incorporate some of the beautiful new Sweet Summer papers onto my card without taking away from my images. I started by adding a bit of colour to a white card panel cut using the largest of the A2 Layering Dies with Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks. I then cut strips from a few of different patterned paers and added them in the center of the panel.

The images were then added to the panel using foam pads for dimension.

The friend sentiment was cut 4 times from black card and added towards the top left of the card and the sentiment stamped underneath the cute little mouse.

The whole panel was added to a 6x6 card blank cut down to 12cm wide with foam tape.

Thank you for joining me here on the blog today, if you haven't ordered your new release items yet, why not get yourself across to the store and use my code T4TLYNDSEY10 for 10% off your order.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Big Birthday Sundae

Hello everyone, and happy Friday. Annalisa here today, sharing a birthday card featuring some awesome new products that were released last week. I just love the Big Birthday Wishes Sentiment Die and how it fills up a card! I paired this with the kitty and the ice cream sundae from the Sundae Sweeties set and love the result.

To start, I stamped, coloured (with Copics) and die cut the kitty and ice cream sundae. I coloured some card stock with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide (using my Beautiful Blender Brushand used it to die cut out the Big Birthday Wishes sentiment and the small hearts. I also die-cut the sentiment die from some black card stock. I glued the pink sentiment to the black one, slightly offset to create a shadow effect.

For the background, I used a two-part ice cream stencil that I had in my stash, which I thought was perfect for this card. I used Kitsch Flamingo and Vintage Photo Distress Oxides for the ice cream and the cone. To get the glittery ice cream tops, I added some translucent embossing paste and then topped this with distress glitter once I removed the stencil.

I used some of the new Sweet Summer 6x6' Paper Pad with the Zig Zag Frame & Tag Dies to create a pretty frame for the card. I die cut this frame twice from white card stock and glued them together with liquid glue. I then added the patterned paper frame on top of these. I glued these to the ice cream background and added the kitty and sundae with some foam tape. Next, I added the sentiment and the hearts.

To complete the card, I added some Stickles and white gel pen accents.

Here's The (Giant) Scoop

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here. I am so excited to show my first card using the brand new July release. It is filled with so many goodies, from stamp sets to stencils, number and alphabet dies and a paper pad! I am featuring the Sundae Sweeties Clear Stamp Set and the Sweet Summer 6x6' Paper Pad, which is gorgeous for my card. I feel like I say that about every paper pad Jo releases!

What is extra special about this particular paper pad, is that I created the background coloured panels in some of the designs in the pack, including the one I used on my card! It is very exciting for me to have some of my artwork used in this way.

I stamped, coloured (with Copics) and die cut my kitty holding the giant ice cream cone, as well as the popsicles from the Cool Critters Clear Stamp Set. To add sprinkles to the ice cream, I used the small circle in the Birthday Bear Clear Stamp Set and stamped it using Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide.

For the back panel, I used the Mini Slimline Scallop Dies to die cut out some white card stock using the largest die in the set. I added colour to this using my BG13 Copic marker to match the colours on the popsicle. I also die-cut out the scalloped frame using the same die set.

I cut down the patterned paper so that it fits behind the frame, and used liquid glue to add it to the blue-green background. I then added the white scalloped frame, followed by the kitty and ice creams. I stamped the sentiment from "Cool Critters" and cut it out with the
coordinating dies and then added it to the card using some foam tape to add dimension. To complete the card, I added some white gel pen highlights and stickles to the cherry for some sparkle.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog, you can use code T4TANNALISA10 when you visit the shop to get a 10% discount on your entire order, including the new release!

Cherry On Top

Hello crafty friends, DT Kitty here. So I hope you are all enjoying the brand new releases - aren't they fabulous! I know the whole team have had a ball creating with them all. Here is my first creation using some of the new releases, I had to create a shaker card of course!!

I started off by creating by background first. I blended Peacock Feathers & Twisted Citron Distress Inks into a smooth blend. I stamped the confetti from the Hello Cupcake Stamp Set randomly onto the blue part to add a little detail to the background. I used the Sundae Sweeties Stamp Set for the images and sentiment. I coloured them with Copics then used the Sundae Sweeties Die Set to cut them out. I created my shaker frame using the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies. I added my acetate and sequins then used a piece of patterned paper from the Sweet Summer Paper Pad at the back of the panel. I assembled everything onto the card, attaching the images with foam pads to make them pop!

As always do feel free to use my DT discount code T4TKITTY10 which gives you 10% off your order over on the website.

Thank you for checking out my card today and I hope you are loving the release. Don't forget to share your creations over on our Facebook Group.
