All Aboard the Friendship

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! I'm excited to share my second card that I created featuring products from the new release from Time For Tea Designs. I used the Boat Buddies stamp set to create this ocean scene; I absolutely love the bunny steering the sailboat!

I first ink-blended Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide onto white cardstock through a cloud stencil. After adding white splatter, I adhered this to a card base with double-sided tape.

Next, I used Peacock Feathers Ink on watercolour paper, adding water to achieve a blue ocean background. I then die-cut this with the Ocean Waves Dies. I attached this ocean section to the card base using 1mm double-sided tape.

I die-cut a frame from white cardstock using the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies. I adhered this frame to the card with foam tape and glue.

I stamped several images from the Boat Buddies stamp set, colored them with Copics, and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I added accents with a white gel pen using a Gelly Roll Pen.

Finally, I used double-sided foam tape and glue to attach the images to the card. I also stamped the birds from the Adventure Awaits set directly onto the sky area of the card.

Ocean Waves

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here today sharing an ocean-themed card I created using several adorable stamps from Time For Tea Designs. I love how many ocean critters are available now in the T4T portfolio as making ocean-themed cards is one of my favourite things to do!

I used the following supplies to create the card:

I created an inky ocean using ink smooshing with peacock feathers Distress Ink, water and some acetate. I die-cut the panel with the Ocean Waves Dies and set it aside to dry. For the sand, I ink-blended Kraft cardstock with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide. I also added brown splatter with a paintbrush. I die-cut the panel with the Landscape Edge Standalone Die.

I added white water colour splatter to the ocean and sand background sections. I used liquid glue to adhere the ocean and sand sections to an A2 card base.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from the stamp sets listed above and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen.

I added sparkles to sections of the images with a Quickie Glue Pen and Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter.

I adhered the images to the card base using liquid glue or double-sided foam tape for dimension.

I stamped the ‘wavin' hello!’ sentiment from Fintastic Friends and cut it out with the coordinating die. I added double-sided foam tape to the back and stuck it down to complete the card.

There's a bear in the wood's

Hey there Tea-timer friends...

It's DT Ashlee here today and I've got a card to share featuring the Happy trails set from Time for tea designs!!

I wanted to create a scene of a bear lost in the woods so I used a couple dies from T4T to set the scene...
- Hey, Hello, Hi (for the large focal sentiment)

I started with a blue cardstock base that I added some slight blue inking to for depth to the sky. I then used green cardstock and added ink blending and splatters to it so that I could die cut the tree top (I used one of the ocean wave dies) and then a strip for the grass. Using a piece of brown cardstock I added brown ink blending and splatters and then die cut a bunch of trees trunks...

I adhered all the trunks to the sky base using liquid glue and then adhered the tree top and grass with foam tape. The hey sentiment was adhered into the tree top and to add a sub sentiment I stamped the I'd be lost without you on light brown card and added it to the grass.

I stamped, coloured and die cut all the images before arranging my little woods scene before completing the card with a touch of sequins!!

(All images were coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers)

I hope you enjoyed today's card, I certainly had lots of fun making it...
Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Seal of approval

Hey there Tea-timer friends..

It's DT Ashlee here for my weekly post and today I've got some ocean themed inspiration for you!!

For this one I used the super cute set Sealed with a kiss and created a fun water scene using these dies....

To create this card I started with a blue card stock base that inked slightly in the middle with a CPD Cummerbund ink just to create a slight variation in the sky.

I then used a different shade of blue cardstock that I inked with a mix of Catherine Pooler blue inks (Something borrowed and Suede shoes) before splattering to create a super cool base to cut the waves from. I used one of the ocean waves to cut three panels of waves and then adhered them onto the card base using foam tape creating different levels of water!!

Using the cloud die I die cut three clouds from an off white cardstock and adhered those finishing off the sky...

I coloured up a bunch of cute images from the Sealed with a kiss set using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers and die cut them with the co-ordinating dies before adding to the ocean....

A stamped and die cut sentiment along with a touch of sequins completed the card!!

I hope you enjoyed my card for today, happy crafting. Hugs Ashlee.
