Easter Greetings

 Good afternoon everyone,

Happy Easter! Lyndsey here. Hope the Easter Bunny visited and you've all had your fill of chocolate treats. We certainly had our fair share here this morning, coupled with 3 days of birthday treats we definitely have enough chocolate to see us through for a while!

Anyway, I'm here today to share with you my first official post for Time for Tea Designs and I what a cutie I have to share with you today!

I took part in Jo's recent colouring class and the free digi image that was part of the class was so adorable. I thought it was such a shame to colour it up and not use it especially as it was perfect for an Easter card.

Obviously I started by colouring my sweet image with my Spectrum Noir markers and have listed the colors below (listed in order of lightest to darkest)

Bunny - BG1, BG2, BG3, BG5, BG6
Ears - CR3, CR1
Carrots - OR1, OR2, OR3
Leaves - CG1, CG2, CG4, DG3
Daffodils (outer) - CT1, CT3, CT4, GB5
Daffodils (inner) - OR1, OR2, OR3, CR10
Ground - EB1, EB2,  GB8, GB10
Sky - IB1, IB2, Blender
Butterflies - HB2, PL1,LV2, PL5

I kept the card simple as I really wanted the image to stand out.
I took a 6x6 card blank and trimmed it down to 12cm wide, trimming the heart paper to slightly smaller than the card to create a nice border. I die cut the top and bottom of the image using a scalloped die and added to the card with foam tape for dimension. To finish the card I added some randomly placed clear drops to add a bit of sparkle.

Thank you for joining me here on the blog today, I hope you have enjoyed my card.

Hoppy Birthday!

Well its Easter Weekend so I couldn't resist making a super cute bunny card! We aren't planning much this weekend but the little man is excited for an Easter egg hunt in the garden hopefully the weather is kind! How about you?
I used so many sets to make this card I find it so hard just sticking to the one but that's what we love about Time for Tea right everything just works so well together. I started my card by cutting out the largest rectangle from the Slimline Scalloped Nesting Dies and stencilling some clouds on there using the Scene it 6 x 6 stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. The grass was cut out from another of the large rectangles I cut using the Landscape Edge Standalone Die I just had to join it up and cut it twice to cover the length of the card. This was coloured with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide and a little bit of Mowed Lawn to give the edges some depth. I cut the fallen tree trunk using the Lift the Flap Slimline add on die  which I stamped on a woodgrain effect using the A5 Woodgrain Stamp  using dark brown distress oxide and going over with a lighter one. Then I cut the straight edges a bit wobbly to make them look more wood like.
The flowers are cut from the spring blooms kit I blended a range of green, yellow and orange oxides for the leaves and some pinks and oranges for the flowers then die cut them out.
All the stamped images I coloured up in Copic marker the images come from a range of stamp sets including Treat Yourself , Hip Hop Hurray, Life's Ups and Downs and Bears Picnic.

When I popped my card together I felt the layout didn't work with all three flaps open so I just had the middle one that opened and covered up the edges of the other flaps with my flowers and bunnies. Once everything was stuck down I popped on my sentiment and stuck it on my card base and that was my card finished up. I hope you like it and have a great weekend. Hoppy Easter

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here and today I am sharing an Easter card that I created using the FREE Easter Basket Digi Stamp Collection and coloured with coloured pencils and not Copics! EEK.

My usual go colouring medium is always my Copic Sketch markers, but I decided to try giving coloured pencils a try for a change. The look isn't as smooth as it is with Copics, which is why I don't typically reach for my colouring pencils, but I am happy with the way it turned out.

I used some older stamp sets to complete the scene, All Occasion Critters Clear Stamp Set (bunny and bees), Beavering Away (duck), Up, Up & Away Clear Stamp Set (butterfly) and Hip Hop Horray (larger butterfly).

After colouring the scene with my Prismacolor coloured pencils, I cut it out using one of the Circles of Love Nesting Dies. I used the same die set to die-cut some of my Rainbow Brights Essentials 6x6 paper pad to use as the background panel for the card.

I cut the card base out from some heavy-weight white card stock and adhered the patterned paper to it with liquid glue. I used foam tape on the back of the scene and placed it on the card base and patterned paper.

Shaker Card Video Tutorial

Hi crafty friends! I hope you're all having a good week.

I am sharing a fun video tutorial today where I show you how I make my shaker cards.

I love to make shaker cards and fill them up with sequins they are really fun to receive too. For my card today I used the Baked With Love Stamp Set for my critters. I seriously love these stamps and the pieces of cheese are really cute! In my video I will also show you how I copic coloured the stamps.

For my card panel I die cut one of my favourite cover plate dies using the Stripes Cover Plate Die. I ink blended this using a Beautiful Blending Brush along with some Speckled Egg Distress Ink. I then ink blended the back panel using Kitsch Flamingo Distress Ink. I then adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the stripes die. I applied some foam tape and filled this up with sequins before adhering the panels together.

The shaker part of your card is now complete. I then stamped my images and coloured them in, using the Baked With Love Coordinating Dies I ran them through my die cutting machine.

For my sentiment I stamped the Hugs Enclosed from the Be Kind Be You. I used a copic marker to colour the hugs stamp. I then used the Be Kind Be You Coordinating Dies to die cut my sentiment out. Once everything was ready I adhered the images to my card using foam tape.

Your shaker card is now complete. I loved how this turned out and it's sure to put a smile on someones face.

Hang In There Bunnies

Hello, Kitty here. I am delighted to join the Time For Tea Design Team and this is my first post - eeek! I have had so much fun behind the scenes creating so watch out for my weekly posts. So here is my first card...

I will apologise for the photo, it was a tricky lighting/weather day. I will try and retake it if I can. So I decided to use the Time For Tea Up Up & Away Stamp Set as, well they have such cute bunnies! I coloured them with copics and fussy cut them out. I created a blended background using my distress oxide Inks. I used Time For Tea Landscape Edge Dies to create the die cut clouds. The stamped clouds and sentiment are also in the same stamp set. I finished by adding some Rain Drops Embellishments.

Supplies;
Time For Tea Designs Stamps - Up, Up & Away
Time For Tea Designs Dies - Landscape Edges
Time For Tea Designs - Iridescent Rain Drops

Slothy Hugs

 Hi there!

Silvia's here today and I'm so excited to share you my very first card for Time for Tea Designs.

I really love the adorable sloths from the "Be Slothy" stamp set that I decided to feature two of them in this card.

I started by cutting a 5" X 3 3/4" from craft cardstock and I soft ink blended it with kitsch flamingo Distress Oxide ink using "Brick Wall" stencil. I also added some texture on it splattering kitsch flamingo and picked fence Distress reinkers. I also darkened edges a bit with frayed burlap Distress ink.

I then stamped my images, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them out.

I die cut the "Hugs" sentiment three times from white cardstock, I layered to create dimension and I softly ink blended with kitsch flamingo Distress Oxide on bottom.

I added a white frame that I die cut using the "A2 Nesting Frame" die set, I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and that's my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope you,ll enjoy this card as much as I do and don't forget that you can save 10% off your Time for Tea order using T4TSILVIA10 at the checkout.

Hugs, Silvia.

Challenge #1 - Cute Critters

 Hey!

I'm so excited to be here today with the first of the T4TD monthly challenges!

And it's a fabulous theme too!

You will need to use your T4TD stamps, dies and stencils to enter the challenges, but then with a theme like Cute Critters that's so easy! If you don't have any T4TD stamps yet head on over to the freebie digital section of the shop and grab yourself one - HERE.

So I hear you asking how do I join in? Well you need to create your card and then pop over to the Time For Tea Designs Friends Page on facebook and upload it to the Challenge #1 album. Easy!

You can enter the challenge up to three times and we would love it if you also popped your card into other challenges too.

There will be prizes! More about that in a minute, but for now let's have a little DT inspiration to get you into the creative mood.

I've used three of the delightfully cute little piggies from Hogs & Kisses and created a landscape slimline card. I die cut some background layers using the Slimline Trio Circle set and popped a piggie in each of the windows.

The sentiments are also from Hogs & Kisses and I used the matching dies to cut the piggies and the speech bubble.

How adorable are these piggies!

Now for the prizes!

There will be two chances to win:

1. a random pick from all the entries for a whopping £25.00 to spend in the T4TD shop. How awesome is that?
2. the opportunity to guest for a future challenge, winner picked by one of the T4TD DT.

So now you'll be itching to get started and join in the fun! But wait a while and check out another card by DT Lyndsey. Sure to inspire you and get you even more revved up and ready to go.

Oh how adorable are those sloths just chilling on the branches!

OK I'll keep you no longer! Ready, start, goooooo!

Stay safe and keep crafting!
