"Have a howling good day" window card

Hello crafty friends and welcome back to the Time for Tea blog! Silvia’s here today with you.

This week I decided to make a window card with some of the amazing products from the September release.

I started cutting two square panels from white card stock.

I ink blended one of them with tumbled glass and savaged patina Distress oxide inks for the sky and twisted citron and mowed lawn Distress Oxide inks for the grass. To ink blended it I used the new Beautiful Blender Brush in teal I added some soft white clouds with the “Sunrise Scene" stencil and I put it aside.

I then used the new "Square Label" dies to cut a window in the middle of the second square panel and I inked blended it with tea dye and fired brick Distress Oxide inks and the “Brick Wall" stencil. I also used this new amazing dies to cut a pink frame that I glued on my window.

I stamped images from the “Dog Gone Mutts" stamp set, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I put everything together and voila my window card, do you like it? I hope this.

Thank you so much for passing by today and don’t forget you can get a 10% off your Time for Tea order with my code, T4TSILVIA10.

Big hugs, Silvia.

Have a mice day!

Hello crafty friends!

It is DT Natalia - I hope you had a lovely weekend, the weather was so hot! Did you enjoy it, or are you a bit like and prefer it a tad cooler?

I have a card I made with some older products from the Time for Tea Designs shop that are some of my favourites of all times. I combined two sets for this card: Bake my day stamp set and baked with love stamp set. I love both, cooking and eating (the latter even more!) so these sets were a must in my stash! I love that the coordinating die for the Bake my day set cuts the oven's door so you can open it - it's so cute!

So I started off by ink blending some victorian velvet distress oxide with the Brick Wall stencil and I used iced spruce for the floor. I then used the middle one of the Slimline Scallop nesting dies to cut out the panel. I really like the scallop effect in cards, and the little pierced detail it has as well. I then used the circles from the Slimlime scalloped trio circle nesting die set as I thought it would give it some more interest. I used vellum on the circle 'windows' to mute the brick colour a bit and allow the critters to be the focal point.

I coloured all the stamps with a mix of my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and my Ohuhu brush pen markers. I am trying to use the Ohuhu more as that is the only way I can get familiar with the colours and combinations - but it's always hard to change from what you are used to!

I used a bit of vellum behind the oven door so it looks like an oven door, and I put a pie inside!

I used double sided sticky pads to mount the mice and accessories to the panel, and then some fun foam behind the panel to mount it onto a slimline (8.5x3.5") cardbase.

This must be one of my favourite scenes of all times - those guys seem to be having a great time together!

Did you know you can use the code T4TNEILA10 at the shop to get a 10% off? ❤

Sending hugs,

Natalia

Sending You Love

DT Annalisa here today wishing you a very Happy Friday and welcoming you to another Time For Tea Designs new release day! There are so many lovely new goodies in the shop, I used three of the new adorable stamp sets to create this fun slimline card.

I drew a straight line using a copic multiliner and then stamped the critters from the new Paper Plane Pals and Car Critters. The squirrel is from the Happy New Year Critters Clear Stamp Set, I masked off his bottom half before stamping him down.

I then stamped down the dotted heart and clouds, followed by the sentiment from the You've Got Mail stamp set. I used the Brick Wall Stencil along with some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide to create the brick wall, which I applied with my Beautiful Blender Brush.

I coloured the rest of the scene in with my Copic markers and added highlights with my white Gelly Roll Pen.

I used the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies to cut out the scene, as well as some black cardstock. I adhered the scene to the black cardstock and then added these two bases to a slimline card.

Thank you so much for visiting the blog, you can use code T4TANNALISA10 when you visit the shop to get a 10% discount on your entire order.

Slothy Hugs

 Hi there!

Silvia's here today and I'm so excited to share you my very first card for Time for Tea Designs.

I really love the adorable sloths from the "Be Slothy" stamp set that I decided to feature two of them in this card.

I started by cutting a 5" X 3 3/4" from craft cardstock and I soft ink blended it with kitsch flamingo Distress Oxide ink using "Brick Wall" stencil. I also added some texture on it splattering kitsch flamingo and picked fence Distress reinkers. I also darkened edges a bit with frayed burlap Distress ink.

I then stamped my images, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them out.

I die cut the "Hugs" sentiment three times from white cardstock, I layered to create dimension and I softly ink blended with kitsch flamingo Distress Oxide on bottom.

I added a white frame that I die cut using the "A2 Nesting Frame" die set, I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and that's my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope you,ll enjoy this card as much as I do and don't forget that you can save 10% off your Time for Tea order using T4TSILVIA10 at the checkout.

Hugs, Silvia.

Floral Window Box Mother's Day Card

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez and as it's almost Mother's Day I thought I'd share the window box card I created using some stencils and the Spring Blooms dies.

I began with the background which I ink blended through the Brick Wall Stencil using my distress oxide inks and Beautiful Blender Brush.

Next I used the Square Grid Masking Stencil to create a window frame.  I cut a rectangle for the window box and used distress inks to colour it before activating the ink with water to give it that wooden effect.

I die cut the flowers and leaves from the Spring Bloom die set and 'planted' them in my window box!  To finish I stamped out 'Happy Mother's Day' from the Mum & Dad Clear Stamp Set and stuck it to my window box.

As always you can get 10% off anything in store using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Happy crafting!

Extra Fries Please

Hello everyone, DT Annalisa here today. Who doesn't LOVE fries? Some people don't, but I am not one of those people, so today I am sharing a slimline card using the Workout Pigs Clear Stamp Set as well as the Brick Wall Stencil. This is such a cute set with funny sentiments like "Abs are cool. But have you tried donuts?"

To start, I stamped the pigs, fries and sentiment on some card stock and coloured them with my copics. I cut the paper that I had done all of the stamping on to fit behind the openings in the smallest die in the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies. I used my Beautiful Blender Brush and applied some Simon Says Stamp Fog ink to the Brick Wall Stencil on some white card stock. After I applied the ink, I die cut the brick panel using the scalloped trio circle die. I cut out some blue patterned paper to fit behind the brick area and then used the largest slimline die in the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies to cut out some pale grey cardstock.

To assemble the card, I placed the grey brick panel on top of the coloured images, which I had adhered to the blue patterned paper. I then glued these two panels on top of the grey card stock and placed everything onto a slimline cardstock base.

I hope you like this card and would love it if you could use T4TANNALISA10 for a  10% discount the next time you purchase anything from Time For Tea Designs.

Paper Hugs

There are so many people that I could send this card to. It is such a hard time at the moment for everyone and I love how this cute new stamp set Happy Mail Critters is just perfect for sending some socially distanced love. I coloured these cuties up with Spectrum noir tri blend markers and added an extra envelope that comes in the Be Kind Be You stamp set. For the background I used the Rainbow pack Beautiful Blender Brushes with distress inks and the Brick Wall stencil for the pavement and the Scene It stencil for the clouds in the sky. To finish it off as always I added a sprinkling of Nuvo drops to add sparkle and texture.

You can use my code T4TAMY10 to get 10% off of these cuties and more in the Time For Tea Designs store.

Huge hugs

Have A Treemendous Christmas!

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez and as there are just a couple of sleeps left before Christmas I thought I'd share a Christmas scene.

In my head I had an outdoor Christmas tree with the bunny stuck in it trying to sort the lights out.  Above him was his friend holding a banner out of the window.

I began with the background for which I cut a scalloped base with the Scalloped Slimline Die.  I placed the Brickwall Stencil over it to create a background with blended Distress Oxide inks.  I then cut out the window frame with grey card and placed some blue card in the background.

Using the Christmas Surprise Clear Stamp Set I stamped and die cut the images with the co-ordinating dies, colouring in the critters with my Chameleon pens.  I die the tree again with green card and paper pieced it.  I used Nuvo drops on the baubles to add texture and shine.

I stuck the tree at the bottom of my card and then another critter peeking out the window holding the Christmas banner up!

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Sneaky Peek day 1!!

This is Amy back again for the second time this week to share my make using some of the amazing new November release from Time For Tea Designs.

First off just check out this adorable little door! Isn't it so cute! Its called Open The Door. I knew as soon as I saw it that I wanted to add a little brad as the door handle.

I used the Brick Wall Stencil with a Beautiful Blender Brush to add some tea dye and vintage photo distress oxide ink to give the bricks a two toned effect.

Then what is more perfect to be the other side of the door than this Carolling mouse from the new Carolling critters stamp set. You might also notice a couple of other little things like the paper and some sentiment strips that you will see more of later in the week ;)

There is just so much to show you this week so I hope you are ready for it and don't forget to watch out for the lives with Jo as well so you can see even more of each of the new products.

They will all be available from Friday and if you like a bit of a bargain don't forget you can use my code T4TAMY10 to get 10% off your order at the Time For Tea Designs store.

Thank you for reading this and enjoy the rest of the sneak peeks :)

Huge Hugs
