Pig Love

Hello DT Vic here today and I have a sweet card to share with you using the Workout Pigs Stamp Set and the Be Kind Be You Stamp Set

I wanted to make my own background using the little pizza's. I started by stamping the pizza's onto a piece of white card and stamped the images using some brown ink. Next I used the Mini Frame and Banner Die and placed the heart on my card. I run this through my die cutting machine five times moving the heart die each time.

Once the die cutting was complete I added foam tape to the back of my card and adhered this down onto a piece of pink card.

I then stamped my images and coloured them in with my copic markers. I trimmed the images out and placed them onto my card using foam tape.

For my sentiment I used the Love stamp from the Be Kind Be You Stamp Set. I heat embossed the greeting onto a piece of black card and trimmed this out. I then adhered this down in the middle of my card base using some more foam tape. To finish the card off I die cut some hearts using the Scattered hearts cover plate die and added them to my card.

Your card is now complete. I loved making this card and using the dies to add something a bit different to your cards.

You can save 10% off your Time For Tea Designs purchases using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout this includes the new release too.

Hearts & Hugs

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez here and it has been freezing lately - we even had a day of snow on Sunday but it's since melted!

Today I'm sharing a card made with elements from the new release Happy Mail Critters Stamp Set combining it with the Mini Frame & Banner Die Set.  I love the 'hello' and 'smile' sentiments in the stamp set and heat embossed them in white to make them stand out.

All my images were stamped and coloured with my Chameleon pens and I arranged the card on a circular base using the Circle of Love Nesting Dies on which I put a white border as all the hearts had borders so carried on with the theme.

I think it's a cute card that is suitable for anyone you've not seen in a while and that's a lot of people for me!

Don't forget you can get 10% off anything in store including the new release using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Happy crafting!

New Release Reveal Day 2 - Workout Pigs

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez here wanting to know if you managed to catch Jo on Day 1 of the New Release yesterday?  If not you can catch up on the Time For Tea Designs FB page.

I don't know about you but it's so difficult to chose a favourite so far and today's new release are the wonderful Workout Pigs!

These are such a fun bunch of pigs and I especially love the sentiments that go with them.  They are sure to put a smile on your face!

I decided to make a slimline card so I could show a number of the piggies on one card.  I used the A6 Rectangle Layering Die Set to cut out 4 rectangles from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad.  My images were all stamped and then coloured using my Chameleon pens.

I cut a couple of scalloped circle frames from the Mini Frame & Banner Die Set and added them to a couple of the rectangles before adhering my piggies.

You can catch Jo for lots more fun tonight at 8pm on YouTube!

The entire new release will be available for sale on Friday and you can get 10% off anything in store using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Happy Crafting!

Cosy Winter

Happy Saturday everyone, design team member Natalie here. We have had a snowy few days so thought I’d make a cosy winter  themed card. This card was the first one of I’ve made of this kind, so it was very much guess work when I was making it. I love how it turned out though.
I started out with the circle panel I cut out the Scattered Hearts cover panel die and then cut a circle out of it with the Circle of Love Nesting Dies. Which I ink blended with some Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink and spritzed with a little water for a bit of texture.
Then I cut out another two circles the same size one I layered underneath the hearts. The other I cut out the snow bank using the Landscape Stand alone Edge dies.
The bunnies and mistletoe were coloured up using COPIC markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. I popped them on top and that was the topper finished. The rest of the front panel I dry embossed using the Treemendous Christmas stencil
To make the base I used a square card base and folded the front panel down the middle. I chopped the dry embossed panel to fit and popped it on and added my topper to the front.

The card needed a stopper though to keep it open, I cut out the circle from the mini frame and banner die set alongside the little heart. I popped it just past the middle more towards the centre of the card just like this and that was my card finished up.
I really hope you liked it too and don't forget you can get 10% off in the shop using code T4tNATALIE10

New Release Reveal Day!!

Happy Friday!

It's DT Shabneez here and I hope you've enjoyed seeing all the elements from the new release which is now available to buy in the Time for Tea Designs store!

I've combined a couple of the new release stamp sets on my card today to form a cute scene.  It's definitely somewhere I'd love to live as it looks so idyllic!

I used the Circle of Love dies to make my circular Easel card.  Next, I stamped and masked the Background Scene stamp and used the Sunnyside Up stencil as the backdrop.  Once I'd coloured in the background using a mix of pens and ink pads to form a scene, I went on to die cut the rabbit and bees from the All Occasion Critters stamp.  After colouring them in I adhered them to my scene.

I used one of the frames from the Mini Frame & Banner Die set to act as a stopper for the easel.

Happy Crafting!

Lets Ketchup!

Hi lovelies well Saturday has rolled around again so it must be time for another blog post!
I finally got to colour up the Fries Before Guys stamp set its a super fun set and I think the Lets Ketchup sentiment is perfect for right now. I combined it with the Dotty Hearts cover plate die, Bee Happy Hexagon Stitched Nesting Dies and the Splish Splash 6x6 stencil.
I cut out the Dotty Heart cover plate and to mix it up I squared off the corners using my paper trimmer. I cut out the largest Hexagon die twice but on the second one I popped in the next Hexagon die down to create a frame. Then cut the same frame out of fun foam to create some depth and stuck them all together.
Now I had my hexagon cut and stuck I could use that as a guide to ink up my ketchup splotches. I added it in opposite corners to where the topper would be placed and then the opposite outer corners of the panel using Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink. I also used the same ink to also make a background panel just slightly larger than the Dotty Hearts panel and stuck them together.
The colouring of the stamped images was pretty simple as they are only small I added some white spots to the cheeks of the chip box and the chip to look like salt using a white gelly roll pen. They were pretty easy to fussy cut too I just had to be careful on the chips arms but my paper was pretty thin so it made it easier. When I stuck them in my frame I decided it needed a little more detail so stamped out the splotches in that same Candied Apple Oxide. Then to finish off I needed my sentiment I used the Mini Frame and Banner Die set to cut out the sentiment strip and then added my sentiment once it was dried I coloured the strip in with the same red copic I used on the Ketchup bottle and popped it on some fun foam to give it some height. Then all was left to do was pop it on my card base and my card was finished.

You Bake My Day!

Hi guys, I have a super fun card for you today I literally hadn't planned to make this one it was all a happy accident. If you have been reading my blog post you will know that I like to batch stamp and colour things up so the Hamsters and accessories were left over from a few recent cards and they were lying around on my desk on top of the striped paper and I just loved how they looked together.
So I gathered up my accessories and added them to the critters I wanted the stripes but I didn't want it to be too much so I got my cheese die and cut that out of some crisp white cardstock to stick in front of it.
I popped the white up with some foam tape though to give it some added dimension and added my hamsters complete with their new look. I love how the holes just frame the Hamsters and peek those stripes contrasted again that crisp white cheese panel.
I stamped my sentiment and cut using the sentiment strip from the Mini Frame and Banner Die set then coloured with a blue copic marker and popped it on the card. I then added it to my card base and my card was finished a real quick and easy card today!

Fancy A Biscuit?

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez here. As so many people are baking during lockdown I decided I'd bring the baking to my paper crafting and made biscuits - jammie dodgers to be precise!

I used the newly released mini frame and banner die set to create the jammie dodgers.  I coloured in my card stock then stenciled over the middle using the Splish Splash stencil.  The hearts in the middle are from the Toadally awesome die set and the sentiments from the Baked With Love set stamped on to the banners from the new set.

I added glossy accents to the hearts and I used the Diamonds Are Forever Stencil to make the background for my biscuits.

Hope I've not made you too hungry!

See you again soon!
