Merry Penguins

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here
sharing a sparkling penguin Christmas card that features the Mistletoe Kisses Digital Stamp Collection from Time For Tea Designs. I paired this with some beautiful patterned paper and dies.

I trimmed patterned paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad 6x6" to 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches and used double-sided tape to stick it to an A2 card base. I die-cut white cardstock with the Falalala Scalloped Slimline Dies, trimmed the two longer sides to 5 1/2 inches and ink-blended them with peacock feathers Distress Oxide. I used liquid glue to adhere these to the sides of the card.

Next, I ink-blended peacock feathers and lumberjack plaid Distress Oxide onto white cardstock and trimmed out the letters 'merry' in alternating colours. I added sparkles to the bottoms of each letter with a Quickie Glue Pen and Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter and then used double-sided foam tape to stick them to the card.

I used a stitched circle die in my stash to cut out a 3 1/4-inch circle from white card stock. I ink-blended salvaged patina and peacock feathers Distress Oxides onto the circle with my Beautiful Blender Brush. I added white splatter with a paintbrush, water and Copic opaque white.

I sized, printed and coloured the two penguins with my Copics and cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e. The mistletoe is from It's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like Christmas; I coloured and die-cut it with the coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen

I applied liquid glue to the bottom of the circle and added Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter on top. I then glued the penguins and mistletoe. I used double-sided tape to adhere the circle panel to the card. I added Sweet Summer Designer Enamel Dots to complete the card.

Interactive Snow Much Fun

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here and today I share a fun interactive card featuring the Snow Much Fun stamp set and coordinating die set from Time For Tea Designs. I love how the snowmen in this set are all dressed up and getting ready for Christmas! It was so fun being able to have the snowman pop up and decorate the tree.

I used the beautiful Winter Wonderland Paper Pad 6x6 for the foreground and background of this card. I cut the patterned paper with the Peekaboo Pop-Up interactive die from Lawn Fawn. I used the Slimline Mini Village Die on white card stock, removed the little houses and glued this down to the background of the scene. I used the middle tab for the interactive element and glued it inside in the appropriate area. There are several videos on YouTube showing you how to use this die.

I stamped, coloured and die-cut all of the adorable images and added white gel pen accents. I used my Quickie Glue Pen by Sakura to apply glue and then dipped the glued areas into Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter and tapped off the excess.

I used liquid glue to adhere all the snowmen and other elements to the card. I used the 'snow much fun' sentiment to complete the card.

It's Penguin-ing to Look a lot Like Christmas

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here sharing a wintery Christmas card featuring the adorable penguins from It's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like Christmas stamp set paired with a piece of patterned paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad 6x6".

A beautiful piece of patterned paper like this makes creating a card easy as it provides a complete background! I trimmed the patterned paper with an older stitched 5.5 x 5.5-inch square die from Time For Tea Designs and glued it to a card base.

I stamped, coloured and die-cut all the images and added white gel pen accents. I applied glue to small areas of each image with a Quickie Glue Pen, dipped these areas into Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter and tapped off the excess. The star in the sky is from the Snow Much Fun stamp set.

I glued or used double-sided foam tape to adhere all stamped images and sentiments to the card.

I stamped the sentiments and die-cut them out with their coordinating dies. I used the dies to cut out two more sentiment backers from white cardstock and glued them together for some dimension. I then adhered the sentiments to the card.

Thank you so much for reading my blog post, you can use my discount code T4TANNALISA10 when you visit the Time For Tea Designs shop to get 10% off your order.

Xoxo

Hi there and welcome back to the Time for Tea’s blog. Silvia’s here with you today.

For today’s card I decided to create a customize background with the “Tall Alpha” stamp set.

I started cutting a panel from white cardstock (I used one of my Christmas gift to do this, Tim Holtz’s Deckle Torn Edge Trimmer) and I stamped XOXO several time with worn lipstick Distress Oxide ink.

I darkened edges and I splattered with clean water, worn lipstick and vintage photo Distress Oxide inks loosened with water and white and bronze acrylic paint.

Next I stamped one of the cute mice from the “Baked With More Love" stamp set, I colored it with alcohol markers and I cut it with coordinating dies.

I cut my card base from one of the patterned paper you can find in the beautiful “Winter Wonderland" pad and I put everything together. For the sentiment I used the “Brighter Days Sentiment Card/ White on Gray" .

Thank you so much for stopping by and don’t forget you can get a 10% off your Time for Tea order with the code T4TSILVIA10.

I wish you an amazing day. Big hugs, Silvia.

Valentine’s tags

Hello there and welcome back to the Time for Tea’s blog today! Silvia’s here with some cute Valentine’s tags!

I started cutting for tags with the die from “Memory Keeping Essential" set, two from white cardstock and two from “Winter Wonderland" paper pad.

I then used the biggest heart die from the above die set to create a stencil and I ink blended twisted citron, mowed lawn and broken china Distress Oxide inks through it on the white tags. I splattered with clean water and tone on tone inks to add texture.

I stamped images from the "Stickin' Cute" stamp set, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I added a sentiment using the "Tall Alpha" stamp set and some hybrid inks, I put everything together and that's all.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you like the tags and don't gorget you can get a 10% off your Time for Tea order with the code T4TSILVIA10.

I wish you an amazing day! Big hugs, Silvia.

Thinking of you Skating Penguins

Hello everyone, and happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, my project today is a winter wonderland 3D card that features an older die set and some older stamp sets. I really enjoy revisiting older stamp and die sets and giving them some love.

I die cut the Box Clever Die Set from some heavy-weight white card stock and stamped the sentiment from the Happy Mail Critters as well as the tiny heart onto the front of the box card. The critters and other elements are from the Skating By Penguins, Beavering Away, and Life's Ups & Downs stamp sets. I stamped and coloured them with my Copics and die-cut everything so they were ready to be added to the card.

For the inside of the card, I coloured the hills with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide to give them the look of snow. For the back hill, glued an additional hill that I die cut using the Stitched Hillside Border dies from Lawn Fawn (you could also use the Landscape Edge Standalone Die from T4T.) I used the Box Clever Die to cut out the back section from some patterned paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad for the sky.

I stuck down the snowy patterned paper to the back of the box and then assembled the box card using double-sided tape. I then used liquid glue to add all of the critters and elements to finish the card.

I hope you like this card and would love it if you could use T4TANNALISA10 for 10% off on your order the next time you purchase anything from Time For Tea Designs.

Wintery Paper Hugs

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez sharing a card made using the Happy Mail Critters Stamp & Die Set.  It's such a cute set and is perfect for when you need to tell someone you are thinking of them, especially with the current lock down.

I used a sheet of the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad as the background as it went so well with the images on the stamp set and framed it with the Zig Zag Frame & Tag Die Set.

All my images were coloured with my Chameleon pens and I made a scene where the cat had to stand on a box to reach the letter box and help the bird post the letter.  I added hearts and a sentiment to finish.

New Release Reveal Day 2 - Workout Pigs

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez here wanting to know if you managed to catch Jo on Day 1 of the New Release yesterday?  If not you can catch up on the Time For Tea Designs FB page.

I don't know about you but it's so difficult to chose a favourite so far and today's new release are the wonderful Workout Pigs!

These are such a fun bunch of pigs and I especially love the sentiments that go with them.  They are sure to put a smile on your face!

I decided to make a slimline card so I could show a number of the piggies on one card.  I used the A6 Rectangle Layering Die Set to cut out 4 rectangles from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad.  My images were all stamped and then coloured using my Chameleon pens.

I cut a couple of scalloped circle frames from the Mini Frame & Banner Die Set and added them to a couple of the rectangles before adhering my piggies.

You can catch Jo for lots more fun tonight at 8pm on YouTube!

The entire new release will be available for sale on Friday and you can get 10% off anything in store using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Happy Crafting!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone! This is it we are in the first proper week of this new year. It's so exciting. I always like new year as its like a clean slate. 2020 taught me a lot though, I am lucky as there are some great people in my life that really made a very tough year a lot better. That includes all of you reading this. Thank you for all of your love and support for my creating. I am so happy to be on this DT. So this card is for you as well as them :D

For this card I have used the brand new Cosy Winter stamp set and combined it with a sentiment from the Winter Wonderland Sentiment Card set.

The background is cut from a piece of the Winter Wonderland 6x6 paper and then I layered the trees from the Winter Background stamp set on top of the snowy background paper before framing it all with the frame from the Zig Zag frame and tag die set. Oh and the big foam roll made it so much easier to put that frame on my card! I die cut all the images with the co-ordinating dies after colouring them with Spectrum Noir tri-blend pens. If you want to get anything from the Time For Tea Designs store don't forget you can use my code T4TAMY10 to get 10% off your order.

Wishing you a cosy winter

I can't believe we are in the Christmas week already! Even though plans have had to change I am still looking forward to Christmas this year. I hope you are all still able to enjoy the time in some way.

Have you seen this adorable Cosy Winter Stamp and Die set from the new release? There are so many cute critters in it.

I teamed this fox and the snowglobe background from the Cosy Winter stamp set up with the Winter Wonderland paper pad as that tree pattern was just crying out to be used :D The sentiment is from the Sentiment Card Pack. They just make things so easy to have some sentiment ready that I just have to cut out. Don't forget you can get a 10% discount on your Time For Tea Designs by using my code T4TAMY10

Have a cosy winter

Hello all and happy Friday, DT Annalisa here and I can't believe that there are only seven days until Christmas! I am sharing a shaker snow globe card using the new A5 Cosy Winter Stamp Set. I just love the adorable critters in this extra-large set, and that large circle scene stamp just cried out to me to be made into a shaker!

For the base of the card, I used one of the beautiful papers from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad 6x6" which I framed using a rectangle I created with the A2 Nesting dies and coloured with my copics.

Next, I stamped and masked the bunny and mouse and layered the outdoor circle scene on top of it. I also stamped the 'cosy winter' sentiment and coloured the scene with my copics. I created the circle frame for the shaker using the Circle of Love Nesting Dies and colouring it with my copics. I cut this circle out two more times and adhered them all together before adding some foam tape to the back.

I added some white Chunky Glitter on top of the circle scene after I had adhered it to the card base with liquid glue. I then stuck down the pink frame, making sure to keep the glitter in the middle. Try as I might some managed to escape! Oh, shaker cards!

I hope you like this card and would love it if you could use T4TANNALISA10 for 10% off your order the next time you purchase anything from Time For Tea Designs.

New Year Reindeer

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez here and I don't know about you but the days seem to go faster this time of year as there seems to be so much more to do!  Today I thought I'd share a celebratory fancy fold card for the New Year using the very cute reindeer from the Happy New Year Critters Stamp & Die Set.

I used a number of papers from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad as they all co-ordinated so well to make the background for my card.

My images were stamped and coloured with my Chameleon pens and I added bakers twine to the balloon and tied it to the reindeer's antler for a bit of fun!

The Let It Snow Die Set takes centre stage and was die cut in glitter card and stuck on a background cut with the very useful Rectangle Layering Dies (EU size).

I hope this post has inspired you and as ever you can get 10% off anything in store using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Until next week, Happy Crafting!

Falalalala

Happy Friday everyone, DT Annalisa here, have you seen the great sale going on over at Time For Tea Designs right now?! If not, be sure to take a look at the 2020 Black Friday Collection, there are some great bundles up for grabs at terrific prices. The sale will end at midnight November 30th BST.

Today I am sharing a Christmas card featuring several new T4T products from the latest release, including the Carolling Critters Clear Stamp Set, Falalala Scalloped Slimline Dies, Layering Dies Imperial Sized- (USA sized) and paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad 6x6". This is such a beautiful collection of papers. I usually struggle with using patterned paper but this collection has inspired me!

To start I stamped the critters and coloured them with my copics and added some highlights with my white gel pen. I added some foam tape to the back of them and set them aside to work on the rest of the card.

I die cut out the falalalala sentiment three times, twice from white card stock and once from some silver foil paper. I stuck them all together with liquid glue. Next, I die cut out a snowy hill and glued it down to the beautiful patterned paper which I had die cut out using my A2 layering dies. For the border around the card, I used the largest frame in the A2 Nesting Frame Dies (this is part of the Black Friday Sale and I use it all the time!) and coloured it using my BG copics. I used liquid glue to adhere this down on top of the snowy hill and patterned paper.

I stuck the critters down on top of the snow and then glued down the sentiment and music notes which I stamped on some white card stock.

To finish the card, I die cut several snowflakes from the Falalalala Slimline Dies. I just love how this card turned out.

Don't forget I have a 10% discount code for the T4T store which can be used on anything, anytime (including sales!!) and has no time limit - T4TANNALISA10. I so appreciate it when you use my code as it helps me to continue to be on the design team that I love so much.

Catmas Cracker Tutorial

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez here with a tutorial to make a very quick Christmas cracker using the Mini Gift Box Die Set.  I think you'll agree it looks so pretty and you can decorate it in so many ways.

To begin, die cut the template 4 times from card of your choice and cut off the bottom tabs from two sets of templates as shown.  Make sure you burnish all the score lines so it makes it easier to fold.

Adhere the templates together using the large tabs.  I used strong PVA glue but you can use red liner tape if you prefer.

Stick both parts together using the smaller tabs on the sides.

Finally add glue to the remaining tabs to form the cracker.

Here you have your cracker ready to decorate!

I have used a sheet of paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad to cover the centre panels so that the join isn't shown.  I then stamped and die cut images using the Catmas Crackers Stamp & Die Set and coloured in with my Chameleon pens.  I stuck them on the top.  All that remains is to fill your cracker then add ribbon to close.

The other positive point of the Catmas Crackers Stamp set is that it even has a joke insert for your cracker!  What will you fill yours with?  Tag me on social media so I can see your creations!

As ever you can get 10% off anything in store using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Happy Crafting!
