Thank You Piggy Card

Hello DT Vic popping in today with an easy Thank You card. This card is also great to make in batches as you can never have to many Thank You cards.

For my thank you card I wanted to have a soft card with some cute critters. I started with a light grey card base and trimmed a piece of white card down for my card panel. Using this white I piece I used the Small Hearts XOXO Dies. I used the heart with stitched and embossed the die onto my card a number of times.

I adhered this piece onto my card using foam tape. Next I used the Thank You Sentiment Die and using some light pink card I die cut the Thank You out three times and adhered them together. I added three layers to add some dimension to the words but you can just die cut this once and add foam tape to the back.

Once I adhered this to the middle of my card I stamped out my images. I used the Workout Pigs Stamp and Dies. I love these cute pigs so much and I thought it would be super fun to add them to my card. I coloured the pigs in with my copic markers and then using the coordinating dies I run them through my die cutting machine. I then adhered them onto my card using foam tape.

To finish my card off I added some hearts using the Scattered Hearts Cover Plate Die. I always keep some of the hearts that the die cuts out as they are the perfect size to add to your cards so if you have this die make sure to save some of the hearts for your next card. I then stamped my sentiment using the Be Kind Be You Stamp Set. I used a light pink ink to blend with the rest of the card.

I hope you have fun making your own thank you cards. Don’t forget you can catch Jo live tonight at 8pm on our Facebook page.

Floral Window Box Mother's Day Card

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez and as it's almost Mother's Day I thought I'd share the window box card I created using some stencils and the Spring Blooms dies.

I began with the background which I ink blended through the Brick Wall Stencil using my distress oxide inks and Beautiful Blender Brush.

Next I used the Square Grid Masking Stencil to create a window frame.  I cut a rectangle for the window box and used distress inks to colour it before activating the ink with water to give it that wooden effect.

I die cut the flowers and leaves from the Spring Bloom die set and 'planted' them in my window box!  To finish I stamped out 'Happy Mother's Day' from the Mum & Dad Clear Stamp Set and stuck it to my window box.

As always you can get 10% off anything in store using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Happy crafting!

Spring Blooms Mother's Day Card

Not long to go till its Mother's Day have you got your card made up? I have some inspiration for you if not using the new Spring Blooms kit. Again I love how well the Valentines release combines with this one. It's quite a quick card to make as there's no colouring involved just some simple die cutting. I kept my colours quite simple pink obviously for the hearts a little subtle lilac and a pop of contrast from some greens and yellows.
I made a card base slightly larger than the Lots of Love Horizontal Cover Plate  Die and popped some pink card on top then layered on the horizontal hearts die cut out of white. I re-cut the same die then out of pale and dark pink. The hearts were then randomly layered onto the card base there was no pattern but I tried to make it even.
The big die cut sentiment is the new Got it from my Mama die I cut out the back in the pale pink and some white fun foam and layered them together. The sentiment was cut using the out of the same darker pink card and layered on top. It cuts in several pieces but it's pretty easy to line up.
Once this was all put together I could use it to figure out the rest of the layout. I stamped the smaller sentiment from the Mum and Dad clear stamp set onto the paler pink with a pink oxide ink making sure it's dry before cutting it out with the Mum and Dad Coordinating Dies
Then it was just the flowers and fauna to cut out again using the Spring Blooms Dies I tried to balance out the colours the flowers I made opposite on each side.
Once everything was laid out how I wanted it I stuck it down with some liquid glue and that was my card finished up. I hope you like it and don't forget you can get 10% off in the shop using code T4TNATALIE10  Have a good weekend and happy crafting!

Got it from my Mama

Hello everyone and happy Friday! DT Annalisa here and today I am sharing a Mother's Day card that has a sentiment as the focal point. This is not something that I normally do, but the new 'got it from my MAMA' die was perfect for this.

To start, I did a watercolour ombre background using Worn Lipstick Distress Ink on some watercolour cardstock. After it dried I ran it through my Big Shot and die cut it with the Dotty Hearts Panel Die. I stuck this onto a white card base to complete the background of my card. I love how this die creates a beautiful pattern on my cardstock.

Next, I used the Spring Blooms Dies to die-cut leaves and flowers from some coloured card stock. I use the Got It From My Mama Sentiment Die to die cut the sentiment from some pink card stock as well as a white cardstock for the outline portion of the die. For the stamped sentiment, I used the 'I turned out awesome' text from the Mum & Dad Clear Stamp Set along with its' coordinating die. I then die-cut several of the small heart bubbles out and glued them together for dimension.

I arranged all of the floral elements on the card and adhered them down with liquid glue. I used liquid glue to stick the 'got if from my MAMA' to the white outline base and then added some foam tape behind this section for some dimension. After adhering down the heart bubble die-cut, I glued the 'I turned out awesome' sentiment using liquid glue to complete the card.

I hope you like this card and would love it if you could use T4TANNALISA10 for 10% off on your order the next time you purchase anything from Time For Tea Designs.

Got It From My Mama Flower Card

Hello crafty friends, Vic here today. I am loving the New Release so much so that I wanted to make a nice floral card but also keep it cute too! I am so looking forward to Spring and these flowers just make it feel a bit more brighter.

For my card today I inked up a piece of white card using some Kitsch Flamingo Distress ink and some Scattered Straw distress ink using my Beautiful Blender Brushes. Once my ink lending was complete I stamped and coloured these adorable hamsters from the Big Hugs Stamp Set and I also used the bee from the Buzzing For You Stamp Set.

Once my images were coloured I die cut some of the flowers and stems from the Spring Blooms Die Set. I then die cut the Got It From My Mama Sentiment Die. I used some bright pink and white card for this and adhered them together using PVA glue. Once all my pieces were die cut I adhered them onto the top part of my card.

I love the spring flowers and the sentiment is so lovely. I then added both of the critters to my card. To finish my card off I stamped some pink hearts from the Storms Don't Last Stamp Set. I love this little heart stamp. I used some pink ink to stamp the hearts.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, Jo will be live on our Facebook Page tonight at 8pm where she will be crafting live.

Thanks Mum Watercolour Bouquet

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez here with a bouquet perfect to thank Mum for everything.  It's funny as after having children of my own I appreciate everything my Mum has done for me so much more.

The flowers and leaves from the Spring Blooms Die Set were all die cut from watercolour card and I used my watercolour palette with a water pen to paint them all.  I arranged them in a bouquet made with tissue paper and tied with some twine.

The MUM sentiment was die cut out with watercolour card and I painted it with an ombre effect using my watercolour palette.  The other sentiments from the Mum & Dad Clear Stamp Set were stamped, die cut and stuck on the card.

All these dies and stamps will be featured on Create & Craft this Sunday.  In the meantime don't forget you can get 10% off anything in store using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Happy Crafting!
