Trick Or Treat Slimline

 

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here today with a spooky slimline card featuring the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection from Time For Tea Designs.

I die-cut some white cardstock with the Mini Slimline Scallop Dies. I created a panel using Distress Oxides (Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, Villainous Potion, Black Soot) and my Beautiful Blender Brushes. I added white and black splatter to add interest. I used liquid glue to stick the scalloped frame to the panel.

I sized and printed the masked kitty and ghost kitty from the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection and stamped the sentiment from the Haunted House Clear Stamp Set. I coloured these with my Copics and cut them out with my Scan N Cut SDX125. I added white gel pen accents.

I then used double-sided foam tape to adhere them to the panel. For the bottom of the frame, I used smaller stamps in the following sets Stinkin' Cute (mushrooms), Jumping With Joy (leaves) and Life's Ups & Downs (hedgehog). It is so great to give these adorable smaller stamps some love!

I die-cut the striped black and white patterned paper from the Halloween 2022 Digital Paper Collection with the rectangle die in the Mini Slimline Scallop Dies. I adhered this to a mini slimline card base.

I added double-sided foam tape to the back of the scalloped frame panel and adhered it to the card base to complete the card.

Spring Love

 

DT Annalisa here today, sharing a waterfront scene I created using the new Slimline Hillside Scene Dies and Sunrise Scene 6 x 6” Stencil. I am sad that spring is coming to a close as it is one of my favourite seasons. I am just not happy when it is hot and humid. How about you, what is your favourite season?

To start, I stamped, coloured (with Copics) and die cut the ducks and other accessories (flower, dragonfly, etc.) from the adorable Lucky Ducks stamp set. I also used some other T4T stamp sets (You’ve Got Mail, Life's Ups & Downs, Beavering Away, All Occasion Critters Clear Stamp Set) and some other stamps and dies in my stash. 

I created the grass layer using Distress Oxides (Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover) and my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes. I added splatter in white and Lucky Clover and once the paper was dry, I die cut it using the slimline grass die from the Slimline Hillside Scene Dies. I absolutely LOVE this die set, the grass cuts so beautifully and I love the end result.

For the water layer, I used Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean with the Sunrise Scene 6 x 6” Stencil, I love the water ripple effect that this stencil helps you to create. Once again, I added white splatter and die cut it out using the Slimline Hillside Scene Dies.

For the final background layer, I used the Sunrise Scene Stencil and Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey Distress Oxides for the sun. The sky was in Tumbled Glass and the clouds in Speckled Egg. I die cut this background using the largest die in the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies.

 Once all of the elements were ready, I began to assemble the card, starting by adding the water layer down on top of the background layer using liquid glue. Then I added foam tape to the grass and added it on top of the water. I then adhered all of the critters and elements using liquid glue.

I stamped and die cut out the sentiment from You've Got Mail and its' coordinating dies and stuck it down with liquid glue to complete the card.

Springtime Friends

 

Happy Friday everyone, DT Annalisa here today. Spring is one of my favourite seasons; I love the longer days, plants peeking out of the ground and the budding trees. For today's project, I used several Time For Tea Designs goodies to create this adorable interactive spring scene.

To create the card, I used the following stamp sets: Happy Mail Critters, Be Slothy, Treat Yourself, Up, Up & Away, All Occasion Critters, Life's Ups & Downs, Skating By Penguins, Be Kind Be You and Happy Mail Critters Digi Stamp Add On Collection. I stamped (or printed), coloured (with my Copics), and cut out the images, and set them aside to add to the card later.

I created the background using Tumbled Glass and Moved Lawn Distress Inks, my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes and the Scene It 6x6” Stencil. I added some water droplets as well as some glitter mist that I had in my stash. Once the panel was dry, I die cut it using the Lift The Flap Slimline Add On Die and the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies.

For the inside, where the flap opens up, I created a second panel with the same Distress Inks and stencil. I added some foam tape to the lift the flap panel and adhered it down to this inside panel. I then added them both to a slimline base which I die cut with the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies.

Then it was time to get to work on gluing down all of the adorable elements to the card. I stamped the 'hello' sentiment, inside the middle flap. I have to say, I just love the little bees that are in the All Occasion Critters stamp set, I get so much use out of them as cute little additions to my scenes.

Happy Winter Birthday

 

Hello everyone, thanks for visiting my blog. I know that spring is just around the corner, but today I am sharing a wintery 3D card scene - great for those winter birthdays. I have used several different stamp sets from Time For Tea Designs as they all go so well together.

The card base is a step-card design from Lori Whitlock's SVG Shop that I cut with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e. I added some snowy hills that I die-cut using the Stitched Hillside Border dies from Lawn Fawn (you could also use the Landscape Edge Standalone Die from T4T) and coloured them with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide to give them the look of snow. I used the Sandy Beach Accents dies from Lawn Fawn to die cut the smaller snowbanks to slip the fire pit and trees into.

The mountains are from a die set in my stash, but you could also use the Mountain Scene Builder Dies from T4T. 

I used several clear stamp sets to create this card: Skating By Penguins (bird with scarf - I had to do some mirror stamping on this one!), Beavering Away, Life's Ups & Downs (hedgehog and smore), Winter Wishes Wreath (sentiment and snowflakes around it). I stamped, coloured and cut out the elements and adhered them to the card base with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment and snowflakes to the hill before adhering it down the card so that it would be crisp.

Hello everyone, and happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, my project today is a winter wonderland 3D card that features an older die set and some older stamp sets. I really enjoy revisiting older stamp and die sets and giving them some love.

I die cut the Box Clever Die Set from some heavy-weight white card stock and stamped the sentiment from the Happy Mail Critters as well as the tiny heart onto the front of the box card. The critters and other elements are from the Skating By Penguins, Beavering Away, and Life's Ups & Downs stamp sets. I stamped and coloured them with my Copics and die-cut everything so they were ready to be added to the card.

For the inside of the card, I coloured the hills with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide to give them the look of snow. For the back hill, glued an additional hill that I die cut using the Stitched Hillside Border dies from Lawn Fawn (you could also use the Landscape Edge Standalone Die from T4T.) I used the Box Clever Die to cut out the back section from some patterned paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad for the sky.

I stuck down the snowy patterned paper to the back of the box and then assembled the box card using double-sided tape. I then used liquid glue to add all of the critters and elements to finish the card.

Guest Designer Lounen shares her warming Campfire Card!

I am super excited because this month , I will be a guest designer for Time for Tea design !

So today, I share with you the first card I made with this adorable Life's Ups & Downs stamp set !

Those two best friends wanted to get a change of air, so they decided to go camping for a few days ! They had so much fun ! The best part ? They ate marshmallow and candies at every meal !

I stamped elements of the set on my Xpress-it blending card and I created the scene with my Illustrators (all the colors are listed below).

Hello and happy Friday everyone. I am sharing another new year's card to celebrate the first full week of 2021 even though the world seems to be a bit upside down. To create this card I used several Time For Tea Designs goodies including the Happy New Year Sentiment Die.

To start, I die cut the background from white card stock using the Sparkle Cover Plate Die and adhered it to some silver foil paper. I used the Circle of Love Nesting Dies to cut out a circle border from some teal card stock and stuck this down to the center of the card. I used the Happy New Year sentiment die to cut out some blue card stock which I glued down on top of the circle border. I used my white Gelly Roll Pen to add some accents to the letters.

The critters are from the Life's Ups & Downs Clear Stamp Set and the balloons are from the Happy New Year Critters Clear Stamp Set. I stamped, die-cut and coloured the critters and numbered balloons with my copics. I die cut the shaped balloons using the coordinating dies from the Happy New Year Critters set from some Recollections Holiday Shimmer paper. I adhered these balloons down to the background using liquid glue.

For the balloon strings, I drew them on some white card stock, cut them out and stuck them down with liquid glue. I used foam tape to adhere the remaining elements.

Happy Fall Friday! It suddenly got warmer so my husband and I are off for a hike today to enjoy it while it lasts. Today I am sharing an interactive fall card featuring the Life's Ups & Downs Clear Stamp Set as well as elements from Beavering Away Clear Stamp Set and Woodland Critters from Time For Tea Designs. I love how this turned out.

This card took me hours and hours to complete. I made a lot of mistakes along the way and almost gave up but didn't! I made the card base with my NEW Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e using an SVG cut file I purchased from Lori Whitlock's SVG Shop. The learning curve is quite steep which is why I hesitated for years but so far I am taking my time and trying not to get too frustrated. It is pretty amazing what this machine can do. I won't describe how to put together the card as Lori has some great videos on this on her website.

For the background, I created a warm fall sky using Chipped Sapphire, Carved Pumpkin, Ripe Persimmon, Rusty Hinge and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. I used splatters of some of the darker colours for some texture. For the middle of the card, I stamped the Woodgrain Clear Stamp Set in a pale grey and I then applied Hero Arts Soft Brown ink with my Beautiful Blender Brush. For the darker inside area of the middle of the card, I used Vintage Photo Distress Oxide.

I die cut out the trees (added some shading with C0 and C00) and leaves (coloured them with Candied Apple, Scattered Straw and Spiced Marmalade) from a die set I had in my stash from Hello Bluebird. I adhered these with liquid glue to the background.

I stamped, coloured and cut out my Time For Tea Designs images. I had to mask out a small portion of the sticks with the marshmallows on them so that the elephant and hippos could hold them.

I stuck all of the elements down to the center part of the card. Originally the hippo and elephant were too far out and I couldn't close the card! A tip for anyone creating this type of card DO NOT put your elements outside of that center portion of the card as they will interfere with the shutter being able to close.

The next issue I came across was the interactive shutters getting stuck on the fire elements so I had to add some acetate over them to solve this issue. Lesson learned!

I decorated the 'belly band' on the outside of the card with leaves and the mouse from the Woodland Critter set. I love how this card turned out. This card will definitely be going to someone special.

GDT Lisa Tilson is playing in the mountains

Hello everyone, my name is Lisa Tilson (find my blog HERE). This is the second of my projects as a GDT for Time For Tea Designs. I have used the same stamp set – Life’sUps and Downs aswell as the Mountain Scene dies. Love those mountains, so cute!  Again, I began by creating my background. I masked off a section around my white panel and ink blended a sky and grass area. I went from dark to light for the sky from the top, and from dark to light from the ground for the grass area. There is actually a white area between the sky and grass but it isn’t visible behind the mountains. I die cut the mountains from two different grey cardstocks, and their peaks from white and adhered them together. I also decided at this point to cut two white clouds from the Autumn Scene cover plate set. I set all these to one side and started on the colouring!

The images were stamped onto white cardstock and coloured with Copics before cutting them out with the coordinating dies. The fun bit is arranging them all into a little scene. So I did that and took a photo so that I knew where to position all the images once I started the assembling. Some were adhered flat and some popped up with foam tape. To finish I stamped a sentiment from Life’s Ups and Downs onto white cardstock, trimmed it and added some foam tape to that too. The whole panel was then added to my horizontal top folding card base.

Hello there, my name is Lisa Tilson (find my blog HERE) and I am delighted to be a guest on the Time For Tea blog this month. I have two cards to share with you using sets from the October release. The first is a fun little night time camping scene. I enjoyed making this one as I don’t think I have ever made a night time camping scene before! To kick off, I ink blended a background panel using three Distress Inks and set it to one side. I die cut the Autumn Scene cover plate from white cardstock and again from navy cardstock. The navy frame section was adhered onto my background panel. The tree was coloured with Copics and the two grass areas were ink blended with Distress Inks. These were all adhered flat onto the background panel.

Next, I took some of the images from Life’s Ups and Downs, stamped them onto white cardstock and coloured them with Copics. They were cut out with the coordinating dies and adhered into my scene. The leaves were die cut from scrap green and brown cardstock and to finish the card I white heat embossed a sentiment from Life’s Ups and Downs onto black cardstock, trimmed it out and popped it up with foam tape. They look right at home with their cosy knitwear on, warming their hands by a roaring fire!
