Last Minute Mothers Day Inspiration & Back In Stock Update

 Happy Saturday Tea Timers!!

Jo here just to let you know about a couple of things you may have missed.

First up, we have a new video up on our YouTube Channel today showing this sweet spring Mothers Day card.

I first demonstrated this on the Crafting Together With All Brands Facebook page during a Live event, a couple of weeks ago. If you missed it you can see the edited version now on our YouTube channel, via the link below.

This project is just in time for a last minute Mother’s Day card or just change up the sentiment for a sweet card to send to Mum at any time of the year!

In the video you will see how I created my mat and layers, how I created dimension for my MUM sentiment and a great tip for die cutting intricate dies like our bee buzzing trails.

Details of the products I used are listed below.

I also need to let you know about some Back In Stock Items and some new to the store products that I know you're going to love. They are already proving really popular so be sure not to miss out.

Happy Mother's Day!

This week seems to have flown by I can't believe how fast the weekend has come around. It's been a quiet week with the boys being back at school and work so extra crafty time for me! Did you get your Mother's Day cards finished up? If not I have another quick and easy card for you today.
A great way to get more out of your dies is to turn them into stamps, its super easy I just cut them out of fun foam and stuck them to my stamping block with some double sided tape. I used the new Spring Blooms Dies to create my background.
If you want to use different colours with the same stamp its probably best to cut one for each colour. I just stuck to one colour per stamp so just cut out one of each.
I cut my base out of white 360gsm cardstock using the large rectangle from the Autumn Cover Scene Die and stamped my images straight on top. I used Worn Lipstick and Dried Marigold Distress Oxides for the flowers and then Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn for the foliage.
Using the fun foam doesn't give a crisp stamp but I like the distressed look I think it adds extra interest to the card. I didn't follow a pattern just tried to even space the flowers and fill in the gaps with the little leaves.
I didn't want to hide too much of the background so I kept my sentiment small and simple. I heat embossed the Happy Mother's Day stamp from the Mum and Dad clear stamp set onto a small rectangular piece of black cardstock. I wrapped some twine around the card and then popped the sentiment over the top using some foam pads. I finished it off by mounting it onto some pale pink cardstock and popping it onto my card base.
I hope you like my card if you want to purchase anything you can find them in the Time for Tea shop and if you pop in code T4TNATALIE10 you can get 10% off your order. Hope you have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Thinking of you Skating Penguins

Hello everyone, and happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, my project today is a winter wonderland 3D card that features an older die set and some older stamp sets. I really enjoy revisiting older stamp and die sets and giving them some love.

I die cut the Box Clever Die Set from some heavy-weight white card stock and stamped the sentiment from the Happy Mail Critters as well as the tiny heart onto the front of the box card. The critters and other elements are from the Skating By Penguins, Beavering Away, and Life's Ups & Downs stamp sets. I stamped and coloured them with my Copics and die-cut everything so they were ready to be added to the card.

For the inside of the card, I coloured the hills with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide to give them the look of snow. For the back hill, glued an additional hill that I die cut using the Stitched Hillside Border dies from Lawn Fawn (you could also use the Landscape Edge Standalone Die from T4T.) I used the Box Clever Die to cut out the back section from some patterned paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad for the sky.

I stuck down the snowy patterned paper to the back of the box and then assembled the box card using double-sided tape. I then used liquid glue to add all of the critters and elements to finish the card.

I hope you like this card and would love it if you could use T4TANNALISA10 for 10% off on your order the next time you purchase anything from Time For Tea Designs.

Thank You Piggy Card

Hello DT Vic popping in today with an easy Thank You card. This card is also great to make in batches as you can never have to many Thank You cards.

For my thank you card I wanted to have a soft card with some cute critters. I started with a light grey card base and trimmed a piece of white card down for my card panel. Using this white I piece I used the Small Hearts XOXO Dies. I used the heart with stitched and embossed the die onto my card a number of times.

I adhered this piece onto my card using foam tape. Next I used the Thank You Sentiment Die and using some light pink card I die cut the Thank You out three times and adhered them together. I added three layers to add some dimension to the words but you can just die cut this once and add foam tape to the back.

Once I adhered this to the middle of my card I stamped out my images. I used the Workout Pigs Stamp and Dies. I love these cute pigs so much and I thought it would be super fun to add them to my card. I coloured the pigs in with my copic markers and then using the coordinating dies I run them through my die cutting machine. I then adhered them onto my card using foam tape.

To finish my card off I added some hearts using the Scattered Hearts Cover Plate Die. I always keep some of the hearts that the die cuts out as they are the perfect size to add to your cards so if you have this die make sure to save some of the hearts for your next card. I then stamped my sentiment using the Be Kind Be You Stamp Set. I used a light pink ink to blend with the rest of the card.

I hope you have fun making your own thank you cards. Don’t forget you can catch Jo live tonight at 8pm on our Facebook page.

You can also save 10% off your order using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Floral Window Box Mother's Day Card

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez and as it's almost Mother's Day I thought I'd share the window box card I created using some stencils and the Spring Blooms dies.

I began with the background which I ink blended through the Brick Wall Stencil using my distress oxide inks and Beautiful Blender Brush.

Next I used the Square Grid Masking Stencil to create a window frame.  I cut a rectangle for the window box and used distress inks to colour it before activating the ink with water to give it that wooden effect.

I die cut the flowers and leaves from the Spring Bloom die set and 'planted' them in my window box!  To finish I stamped out 'Happy Mother's Day' from the Mum & Dad Clear Stamp Set and stuck it to my window box.

As always you can get 10% off anything in store using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Happy crafting!

Spring Blooms Mother's Day Card

Not long to go till its Mother's Day have you got your card made up? I have some inspiration for you if not using the new Spring Blooms kit. Again I love how well the Valentines release combines with this one. It's quite a quick card to make as there's no colouring involved just some simple die cutting. I kept my colours quite simple pink obviously for the hearts a little subtle lilac and a pop of contrast from some greens and yellows.
I made a card base slightly larger than the Lots of Love Horizontal Cover Plate  Die and popped some pink card on top then layered on the horizontal hearts die cut out of white. I re-cut the same die then out of pale and dark pink. The hearts were then randomly layered onto the card base there was no pattern but I tried to make it even.
The big die cut sentiment is the new Got it from my Mama die I cut out the back in the pale pink and some white fun foam and layered them together. The sentiment was cut using the out of the same darker pink card and layered on top. It cuts in several pieces but it's pretty easy to line up.
Once this was all put together I could use it to figure out the rest of the layout. I stamped the smaller sentiment from the Mum and Dad clear stamp set onto the paler pink with a pink oxide ink making sure it's dry before cutting it out with the Mum and Dad Coordinating Dies
Then it was just the flowers and fauna to cut out again using the Spring Blooms Dies I tried to balance out the colours the flowers I made opposite on each side.
Once everything was laid out how I wanted it I stuck it down with some liquid glue and that was my card finished up. I hope you like it and don't forget you can get 10% off in the shop using code T4TNATALIE10  Have a good weekend and happy crafting!
