Smitten Kittens from Guest Designer Lyndsey

It's the end of another week and also the end of February, which means this is my last card as part of my guest month at Time for Tea Designs. I have really enjoyed sharing my creations with you over this past month and quite sad its all over.

On a more cheerful note tomorrow we say hello to March, bringing with it the start of spring and hopefully brighter days. March also means Mother's Day will soon be upon us, so I have used the adorable Smitten Kitten stamp set to make a cute slimline Mother's Day card.

To start with I stamped and coloured the cute kitty's with my Spectrum Noir markers (colours listed below in order of lightest to darkest)

Kitty's  TN2, CT4, GB5
Balloons & Heart Box
Yellow - CT1, CT3, CT4
Red - CR10, CR11, DR3
Pink - BP1, BP2, BP5, BP7

To make the back ground I cut out the Lots Of Love Slimline Die from scrap card to use as a stencil. Using distress inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry and Candied Apple to create my Ombre look. I then cut the panel out using one of the outer dies from the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies

I used the You Are Awesome Sentiment Die along with stamps from my stash to create my sentiment which I added to the middle of the card. The kitty's were placed above and beneath the sentiment and I added a circle cut from velum behind them just to make them pop from background a little.

I added a few clear sequins randomly around the card to finish off.

Thank you for popping by the blog today.

Sending Hugs

Happy Saturday everyone, I’m here to share my first card with the new stamp set from the Spring Blooms card kit. I teamed it with the Lots of Love Vertical Cover Plate Die to make this fun rainbow heart card.
I cut out the Lots of Love Cover Plate die once out of white card stock which was 360gsm then once again out of white fun foam to give me my base. Then cut out the hearts from rainbow coloured paper. I just cut off enough paper to cut out 3 hearts but if you wanted to make lots of cards you could cut the whole cover-plate out each time.
I popped the fun foam and white card panels what I cut out on top of a black card base, then I could glue my hearts on the inside. It’s such a quick and easy technique but looks so pretty!
The sentiments I just white heat embossed into some black cardstock and cut out the hugs with the coordinating dies and the other one just with my paper trimmer. I glued them on my card and that was it finished up! I hope you like it, there’s so many different possibilities with the new spring bloom kit I’m really enjoying playing with it. Don’t forget you can also get 10% off in the shop using code T4TNATALIE10
Have a great weekend and I will see you next week!

Mother's Day card using the Spring Blooms new Release

Hello and welcome to another awesome Time For Tea Designs' new release! DT Annalisa here, and today I am featuring two of the new beautiful die sets from the Spring Blooms mini-release - the Spring Blooms Die Set and Mum Sentiment Die. I also used a sentiment from the new Mum & Dad Sentiments Stamp Set and its' coordinating die. All of these elements work so well together, especially for creating soft floral mother's day cards like this one.

Not only is the new release available today, but also, the very first Paper-crafting Kit from T4T is now available! The kit is filled with so many goodies - stamp set & coordinating dies, stand-alone dies, patterned paper, envelopes, pastel cardstock, embossing powder, Stickles, Distress Ink - giving you a great opportunity to try items that you may never have used before. The kit is in very limited supply, so if you are interested, be sure to jump on this quickly to grab these items at a savings of 50% (if you were to buy these items separately).

To start, I die cut the background heart panel with the Lots of Love Horizontal Cover Plate Die from some white card stock. I adhered the main panel to a card base and then stuck all of the hearts back in place. Next, I die cut the 'mum' sentiment letters as well as all of the floral elements from coloured cardstock. I stamped the 'happy mother's day' sentiment with black ink and die cut it out with its' coordinating die.

To assemble the card, I glued the leaves down and then the flowers, some of which I popped up with some foam tape. I glued the foliage behind the 'mum' sentiment letters and its' outline and then added foam tape behind the whole piece and adhered it to the card. I used liquid glue to stick down the 'happy mother's day' text.

Dutch Card Video Tutorial Using The NEW RELEASE!

Hello crafty friends, Vic here today and I have a fun video to share with you using some goodies from the Brand New Release

In my video today I will be showing you how to make this fun folded dutch card. You will only need a piece of A4 card to create this along with some pattern paper. I don't know about you but I find it so much easier to create fun folds using just one piece of card. I will show you all the steps in the video that you need to make this card.

The card will open as the picture shown above. I added some ribbon to my card but you don't need to add this if you don't want to. This will also stand up by itself as the two bottom folds will act like a stand.

For my card I used the brand new Mum Sentiment Die. I absolutely love this font its just so pretty! I adhered the dies using some pink and white card. I placed the die at the top of my dutch card. I then die cut some flowers using the Spring Blooms Die Set. The flowers are so sweet and will definetly be used on a lot of my cards.

For my insert I used the Mum and Dad sentiments stamp set. This stamp set has so many fun sayings and can be used through the year. I stamped the greeting Happy Mother's Day and added some flowers using the Spring Blooms Die Set. I also added some grass using the Landscape Edge Standalone Die. If you watch the video you will see that I was having 'one of those days' where my colouring was going wrong. I watercoloured a little bird from the Happy Mail Critters Stamp Set which was the only image I could 'save'. I then went on and aded a couple of critters from the Butterflies Stamp Set. I used my copic markers to colour the critters in and they are all listed on the screen of the video.

Once all my pieces were adhered down I added a ribbon to tie the card up. I loved how this turned out and it was so fun making this dutch folded card. I hope you give this a try and if you do don't forget to tag us in your photos. We love seeing you're creations.

You can also save 10% off your Time For Tea Designs orders including the New Release!!! using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout.

I hope you enjoy the video and I can't wait to see what you make with the new release!

Have a lovely day, thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Dreams from Guest Designer Lyndsey

Happy hump day! I'm sharing another card with you today as part of my guest month with Time for Tea Designs.

I loved this sweet kitty from the Smitten Kitten stamp set and wanted to put her on a card all by herself. She looks so blissful and comfortable there dreaming of sweet things!

I coloured the kitty up with my Spectrum Noir markers (listed lightest to darkest)

Kitty - BG1, BG3, BG5, BG7
Cheeks & ears   - CR3, CR2
Chocolates - TN5, TN7, TN9
Chocolate heart - CR3,  CR2, CR6

I used a standard 6x6 card blank cut down to 12cm wide and rounded off the bottom corners. I wanted a clean and simple look so opted for just one piece of patterned paper with a couple paper strips across the card to give my cat a grounding.

The sentiment is a mix of sets with the 'Dream' from the Unicorn in Training stamp set and the cute heart patterned paper is also from T4TD.

Thank you for popping by my blog today.

Double Stencil Baby Card

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez here sharing a creation to welcome a new born.  The Occasional Critters Stamp Set is one of my absolute favourites and I have teamed it with a couple of stencils.

I began by using the Beautiful Blender Brushes and a couple of distress oxide inks through the Starry Heart Stencil.  I then masked the star with a sheet of paper cut to the rough size of the stencil and then used the Scene It Stencil to create the clouds.

The baby critter was stamped and coloured using my Chameleon pens then die cut.  I added some stamped stars from the same set on to his cute blanket and some glitter glue to the cloud to finish.

My card base was made using the Circle of Love Die Set and I added another frame cut from blue card using the same die set.

If you haven't managed to get your limited edition Spinning Blender Brush Caddy and Beautiful Blender Brushes then you can get them HERE with an extra 10% off using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Happy Crafting until next time!

Another Gorgeous card from Guest Designer Lyndsey!

 Happy Sunday everyone,

I'm back today with another card for my guest slot with Time for Tea Designs using the Smitten Kitten stamps. Still on the love theme with these cuties, but as Valentines Day has been and gone his time I've used the cute kitty couple image for an Anniversary card.

I adore this cute pair and they are just perfect for anniversary/wedding cards.

I coloured the couple up with my Spectrum Noir markers using the following colours (darkest to lightest)

Left kitty - GB5, CT4, FS7, FS5, TN2
Right Kitty - BG7, BG5, BG3, BG1

For the background I used the Sparkle Cover Plate Die cut from white card and backed with pink polkadot paper, matted onto bright pink card.

For the scene I took a plain heart and inked the clouds using the Scene it 6x6 Stencil. The grass was cut from the Landscape Edges die set. I layered up the 'happy sentiment die to give it some dimension and stamped the 'anniversary' from the stamp set in the bottom right hand corner to finish.

Thank you for popping by the blog today.

A quick and easy Anniversary Card

Happy Saturday everyone have you had a good week? Surprisingly I have another Smitten Kittens card to share with you all today. I'll be mixing it up next week I promise but I'm sure you will all agree they are totally adorable.

Todays card is perfect for anniversary's also an added bonus it was really quick and easy to make so perfect if you need one last minute. I used the Dotty Hearts Cover Plate Die to create my base and stencilled a heart on using the Large Heart Masking Stencil and some Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks. I started at the bottom with the darker shade and blended up into the lighter one to give an Ombre effect. I also used the Picked Raspberry on a sheet of card and stamped my sentiment on there and cut into a small rectangle with my paper trimmer.
The kitties I had left over in my stash that I had already coloured up. When I get a new set I tend to stamp out around 3 of each image and colour them all up at the same time. I find this method works so much easier as you already have all the pens out. Its also great to do when your feeling a bit crafty but you don't want to make a card.
I popped them both onto my card alongside the balloons and popped that onto my card base. I hope you like it and don't forget you can get 10% off in the shop using code T4TNATALIE10

Extra Fries Please

Hello everyone, DT Annalisa here today. Who doesn't LOVE fries? Some people don't, but I am not one of those people, so today I am sharing a slimline card using the Workout Pigs Clear Stamp Set as well as the Brick Wall Stencil. This is such a cute set with funny sentiments like "Abs are cool. But have you tried donuts?"

To start, I stamped the pigs, fries and sentiment on some card stock and coloured them with my copics. I cut the paper that I had done all of the stamping on to fit behind the openings in the smallest die in the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies. I used my Beautiful Blender Brush and applied some Simon Says Stamp Fog ink to the Brick Wall Stencil on some white card stock. After I applied the ink, I die cut the brick panel using the scalloped trio circle die. I cut out some blue patterned paper to fit behind the brick area and then used the largest slimline die in the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies to cut out some pale grey cardstock.

To assemble the card, I placed the grey brick panel on top of the coloured images, which I had adhered to the blue patterned paper. I then glued these two panels on top of the grey card stock and placed everything onto a slimline cardstock base.

I hope you like this card and would love it if you could use T4TANNALISA10 for a  10% discount the next time you purchase anything from Time For Tea Designs.

Quick 10 Min Card - I Miss Your Face

This Love Heart Sweet inspired card is so quick and easy to make, I love it!
It is perfect for a card in a hurry or if you only have a few minutes to craft.

The supplies I needed were minimal too which is always a bonus.
The products I used for this project were:

Be Kind Be You Stamp and Coordinating Die Set
A2 Layers Die Set
Bubblegum A4 Cardstock
Space Odyssey A4 Cardstock
Distress Inks
A2 Card Blank - Bright White
WOW Embossing Ink
WOW Embossing Powder - White
T4TD Adhesive Foam Roll
T4TD Sensational Sequins - Cosmic Clear

Firstly I stamped my heart from the Be Kind be You Stamp set in Rainbow Colours. I did two rows of 3 as that worked with the rainbow colours I selected.
I used Distress Oxide Inks for the most part. The Pink was a Distress Ink in the new shade of Kitsch Flamingo. I LOVE this colour so much :)

I cut the stamped panel with my A2 layering dies as I will be mounting onto an A2 card blank.
I also cut a mat layer from the Bubblegum pink cardstock to add my stamped panel onto.
I added foam tape to the back of my mat and layer and adhered to my card base.

The sentiment is also from the Be Kind Be You Stamp set. It also comes with a coordinating banner die. I stamped the sentiment in Embossing Ink  onto Space Odyssey cardstock. I then heat set my White Embossing Powder over the top. I used the banner die to cut this out and added it to my card base with the T4TD Adhesive Foam Roll.

Finally I added a few of our Cosmic Clear Sequins to add a little of shine.
This is such a sweet card - pardon the pun! :) It was super quick and easy.
I hope its inspired you to try something similar when you're short on crafty time too!
Hugs Jo XOXO
