Home Sweet Home

Happy Saturday everyone,  It's been a long week and I'm so ready for the weekend. I'll be staying home and catching up some missed crafting after a our first week of home school. What about you? Are you creating this weekend?
This week I was sad I didn't get to use the Spooktacular Stamp set as much as I wanted to at Halloween so I tried to think of ways to stretch it. I love to stretch my stamps as we know they aren't cheap so I like to get the most out of them.
I decided to combine it with the bear and accessories from the Home Sweet Home stamp set and another of the bears from the Bearing Gifts stamp set. I love that the bears all work so well together.
I started by cutting out three squares from the Quilted Square Nesting Dies two will form our card base and the other I used for the front of the card. I stamped out all my images and coloured them up with Copic Markers, the sky I just coloured up really simply with no shading other than with the little moons.
The bears I chose some soft browns for so that they would stand out against that dark sky. Then for the books I like to not use too many colours so it doesn't distract the eye and keeps the card more uniform. I used the same yellow as the stars and used a darker shade of blue of the sky and mixed in some rich reds, and oranges. Then using the same red for the little cup.
Once everything was coloured up I Die cut them out for the books though I removed the shelf that was under them afterwards as I wanted it to look like they were stacked up on the floor next to them.
I also needed to cut out the scallop circle die from the Spooktacular Coordinating Die set again out of white card this will just frame the sky like a window but still be quite subtle.
I popped everything on my card and then finished it up with the Home Sweet Home sentiment and that was my card finished up. I hope you like it and don't forget you can get 10% off in the shop using code T4TNATALIE10
Have a lovely weekend and I'll see you again next week!

Time for some Pandamonium!

I am so, so, so excited to be here. My name is Amy and I have just joined this awesome DT. This is my first project as DT here so please be kind :) I felt like we all needed something bright and happy with everything that is going on so what better than a panda with googly eye?? OK so I went one better and it's not only a panda with googly eyes its also on an action wobble!! I couldn't resist.

This adorable set of stamps are called Pandamonium Party and in my personal opinion they wont fail to make people smile. I added a tiny bit of shade around their white bits with a light grey triblend marker, Coloured the hat and the balloons with more triblend markers before adding some sparkle with a crafters companion sparkle pen. To make the balloons look shiny with some glossy accents. I used the coordinating dies to cut them all and then added the hats and balloons before fixing on their googly eyes.

For the background I used my time for tea beautiful blender brushes and some distress oxide inks to make this colourful background (I used Wilted Violet, worn lipstick and antique linen) before then adding sparkle using some pineapple glacier paste with the starry sky stencil

The squares behind them I cut using the quilted square nesting dies. The sentiment is from the stamp set and the rectangle that it i stamped on is from the coordinating dies. I heat embossed it in white embossing powder to stand out and match with the black and white of the pandas.

I hope this has given you all a little smile and that you are all staying safe and well. Don't forget if you do want to get any Time For Tea Designs goodies then you can use my code T4TAMY10 to get 10% off of your order :D

Huge Hugs

I had a lot of fun colouring in the images with my Chameleon pen and punching out holes then adding the googly eyes.  You can't beat a googly eye on Halloween!!!!

I used the Quilted Square Nesting dies to cut out the squares as I love the stitched element they provide.  This card shows off the different elements from the stamp set as well as being bright and colourful.

Emboss Resist Halloween Card featuring Spooktacular Stamps and Dies

Hello crafters!  DT Elaine here today to share this spooky Halloween card using the new Spooktacular stamp set along with lots of other Time for Tea goodies in the range.

To start with I took a piece of white cardstock and treated it with an antistatic powder bag.  I placed the card in my stamp positioner along with the Plaid Background stamp and inked it with an orange dye ink.  Before removing the stamp and the card I repeated the stamping with Versamark Ink.  Next I took the singular line stamp in the set and inked it with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, another sticky ink which is great for heat embossing.  Once everything was stamped I coated the panel with clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat gun until melted and glossy.

To add interest to the panel I applied Black Soot Distress Ink all around the edges concentrating the colour on the edge to create a gradient effect.  The areas coated in the embossing powder resist think and the orange colour shows through.  I cut this panel down to size using one of the square dies from Quilted Square Nesting Dies.

The ghosts and bats were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, coloured with copic markers (C3, C1, C00, YR01, W6, W4, W1) and cut out using the co-ordinating dies.

For the cardbase I cut a piece of black card stock to 10" x 5" and scored at 5" on the longest side and burnished with a bone folder to create a 5" x 5" card base.  Using another of the dies in the Quilted Square Nesting Die set I cut a white square of card stock for a layering panel.

To frame the ghosts I used two dies from the Quilted Square Nesting Dies to cut a small frame from black card stock. All the layers were adhered to the cardbase and the images were adhered using foam tape to help add some dimension.

The sentiment was created using white embossing powder on black cardstock and trimmed down into a thin strip.  Foam tape was adhered to the back and secured under the ghosts.

To add a little extra sparkle, glitter was applied to the ghosts and jewels dotted around here and there.

I hope you enjoyed this card and check out the video

Picnic Fun

Hello everyone, DT Annalisa here and my card today features not one but three of the Time For Tea Designs August release! This was a HUUUUGE release and I am loving creating projects with it. This cute picnic scene just makes me smile.

To start I stamped the bear, picnic basket and ants from the Bears Picnic Clear stamp set. I then stamped the cute mice from the Treat Yourself Clear Stamp Set. Before stamping the windmill from the Up, Up & Away Clear Stamp Set I masked the bear and the mouse on the right. The bees are from the All Occasion Critters Clear Stamp Set and the clouds are from the Buzzing For You A7 clear stamp set.

I coloured the scene with my copics, stamped the sentiment and added some white highlights with my Gelly Roll Pen. Next, I cut both the scene and some pattered paper using Quilted Square Nesting Dies. I glued the scene to the patterned paper and then to a card base to complete the card.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the products used in my project, I have a 10% discount code for the store which can be used on anything - T4TANNALISA10.

Meowy Christmas to You

DT Annalisa here and in celebration of Jo being on Create and Craft this past Monday for her "Christmas in July" release, I am sharing an extra card this week! For this card I used two sets from her July release - the Christmas Surprise Clear Stamp Set and the Mew Are the Best Gift Clear Stamp Set. These two sets are adorable and I loved colouring them!

First I stamped the little mouse in the set and created a mask for him. I then stamped the kitty and presents on top of the mouse and mask. Next, I created a mask for the kitty and some of the presents on the left-hand side and stamped the tree on top of this. Once I had removed all the masks, I stamped the sentiment and extra Christmas ornaments.

For the kitty in the tree, I inked it up and then wiped off the ink from the areas below the paws (as it was designed to be used with the coordinating die). This way, even if you don't have the dies you can still use the kitty, dog and bunny in the tree!

Once everything was stamped I took my time colouring the adorable scene with my copic sketch markers and loved it. I often put on some Netflix or Spotify in the background and colour away for hours.

Once the scene was coloured I cut it out using the Quilted Square Nesting Die. For the blue background, I also used another square from this set and coloured it using one of the blues I used to colour the presents.

I adhered the scene to the blue background and then to a card base to complete the card.

The Pies The Limit

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here, my card today features the new Bake My Day A7 Clear Stamp Set. This is a terrific smaller stamp set with some punny sentiments which I love!
To start, I stamped the mouse, chef hat, oven and sentiment and then coloured them in with my copics. I also created a kitchen scene around the stamps using my COPIC 0.3 Multiliner.

Once the scene was coloured I cut it out using my Quilted Square Nesting Die set. I used this same set to also cut out some pink patterned paper. I used liquid glue to adhere the baking scene to the patterned paper to complete the card.

Be sure to use my discount code - T4TANNALISA10 - for 10% off in the T4T shop which can be used on anything at any time!

Life is what you Bake it!

Hi Guys so the new release is finally here what do you think? I love the smaller stamp sets and the fact that they work so well together with older Time for Tea sets. The cute little mouse has to be my favourite he is an add on to the Baked with Love stamp set. After all you cant have a chef with a cute little oven to bake their goodies. The matching die set even enables you to add an interactive element letting you open the oven door.
This is the first card I made with the new release I combined the new Bake my Day with the Washi Stripes. The Washi Stripes are a fab edition to the collection as they are great for making your own backgrounds or a touch of decoration. Here I stamped them out to make some wallpaper in my kitchen scene. I found if I cut my square out first too using the Square Quilted Nesting Dies it was easier get my lines straighter.
The mouse and accessories were super simple to colour as they are small so great for quick cards. I even added some of the accessories from the Baked with Love Stamp set.
I finished my card off with a chunky frame I'm really loving this look at the minute and it's really easy too do. I used one the larger square dies to cut out the outside and used the same size die to cut out the middle. Then did the same again with some fun foam you could just use foam tape but this makes sure our frame is super sturdy. Then I stuck them together and popped my image in the centre and stuck it to my card base.

Busy Procraftinating

Happy Friday and welcome. DT Annalisa here and today I am sharing a cute card featuring the new Crafty Cats stamp set. I just love this adorable stamp set as it combines my love of crafting and cats! Just Purr-fect!

I stamped, masked and coloured the kitty and crafting elements to create the scene and then coloured them in with my copics. I also coloured in the floor and wall to complete the craft room scene.

I cut out the white square border using the Quilted Square Nesting Die and used liquid glue to adhere the border to the scene. For the background, I used another quilted square nesting die to cut out some teal patterned paper from the Rainbow Brights Essentials 6x6 paper pad. I then adhered the scene to the background patterned paper and added the 'busy procraftinating' sentiment to complete the card. I hope you like it.

Don't forget I have a 10% discount code for the T4T store which can be used on anything, anytime and has no time limit - T4TANNALISA10

Thank you fairy much

Hello and welcome, DT Annalisa here and today I am sharing a thank you card featuring the Fairy Garden stamp set and the Quilted Square Nesting Die. I love the number of dies included in the square nesting die, it helps you to create great layered cards.

To start, I stamped the scene and coloured it with my copics. I outlined the fairies and butterfly in grey to help them pop. Next, I used the 4 1/4 die from the Quilted Square Nesting Die to cut out the scene.

I cut out some paper from the Rainbow Brights Essentials 6x6 paper pad with the 5 1/2 inch die. I used some foam tape to adhere the fairy scene to the hearts paper. For the final layer, I used the 6 inch die to cut out some white card stock which I coloured using my BG13 copic marker to match the dress colour of the fairy holding the cupcake.
I hope this card makes you smile.

Smile and Bee happy Window Scene Interactive Card

Hi there!

I really hope everyone is keeping well, staying safe and is remaining positive while social distancing.

Last night's FB Live Craft with Jo and Ant was such a tonic for us and hopefully for you too. It means so much to be able to craft along with you, chat about craft and do something that is a welcome distraction from the current situation.

Be sure to watch the edited version of the Live Event below to see all the steps in more detail.

For today's card I wanted to create a fun interactive card that feels like Spring is on its way!

I stencilled my Bee Hive background directly onto my card base using my Beautiful Blender Brushes and Distress Oxide Inks.

I then opened my card and used my Large Square Masking stencil the mark out where I wanted my garden scene. The Masking Stencil has etched lines that allow you to line up your stencil onto an A6 UK card base or an A2 US card base.

I then used the Sunny Side Up Again 6x6 Stencil to create my scene. I stencilled the grass & fluffy clouds with this stencil and my Beautiful Blender Brushes.

My super cute Bees were stamped onto super smooth cardstock with my Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink. I coloured all of my images with my Faber Castell Polychromo Pencils. The tree is from the Moovellous Stamp set and fits perfectly into our scene.

I stamped the Bee Happy sentiment from the Bee Happy Stamp set underneath our scene using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

I used a die from the Quilted Square Nesting Die set to cut the window from the front of my card. This now creates a view through to our scene on the inside of our card.

I cut the Smile sentiment from the Smile Scalloped Frame Die Set, from white and black cardstock. I layered the black sentiment over the white offset slightly to create a drop shadow effect.

I then added my images. The Bee with his honey jar has been added directly to the front of the card using liquid glue. The Tree has also been adding with liquid glue to the left of my scene.

My adorable Bee carrying his rainbow of flowers has been added with my favourite accessory! The Action Wobbler! This give my Bee some dimension but also means he wobbles and springs when he is flicked gently. Its is so adorable and really makes me smile.

I hope you enjoyed the project today.
