You Make My Heart Soar Interactive Card

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, today I’m sharing a fun interactive pop-up card featuring the Love Is In the Air stamp set from Time For Tea Designs. With its bright colours and playful design, this card would be perfect for Valentine’s Day.

I started by cutting white cardstock to 3¾ x 5 inches. Using the cloud section of the Beach Scene Builder 6x6’ Stencil, I ink-blended Saltwater Taffy, Kitsch Flamingo, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxides with my Beautiful Blender Brushes. To add extra interest, I finished the background with white splatter using Distress Spray Stain.

Next, I followed the Lawn Fawn video tutorial to die-cut the blended panel and assemble the interactive element using the Pull ’n Pop Pull Tab Die. For the top panel, I used a stitched cloud die along the bottom edge and adhered it to the ink-blended panel with liquid glue. Before attaching it, I stamped the sentiment, “You make my heart SOAR.”

I then used 3mm double-sided tape to adhere the interactive panel to an A2 card base, which I had covered with patterned paper from the Pawsome Rainbows 6x6' Paper Pad. I absolutely love how fun and colourful this paper collection is.

To finish the card, I stamped images from the Love Is In the Air stamp set and coloured them with Copic markers, adding white highlights with a Gelly Roll pen. I die-cut the images using the coordinating dies and adhered them to the card with liquid glue.

Sweet Shaker Hearts

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here today! I recently got my hands on the Heart Nesting Dies from Time For Tea Designs and had to make a shaker with them and the cute little characters from Sweet Cart Critters.

I used my Beautiful Blender Brushes to ink-blend several colours onto an A6 white card base. The colours were as follows: yellow; squeezed lemonade Distress Ink, Butter Bar Hero Arts Shadow Ink, blue; tumbled glass Distress Ink, Surf and Ocean Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated inks, green; Altenew Limeade Bamboo.

For added interest, I added splatter with water, silver metallic watercolour and a paintbrush and set it aside to dry.

I used the largest Simple Nesting Dies – A6 to cut patterned paper from the Pawsome Rainbows 6x6' Paper Pad. I used two dies from the Heart Nesting Dies to cut three open areas in this patterned paper piece. I placed the openings in the areas where I had ink blended.

I added acetate to the back of the patterned paper with double-sided tape. Then I added 3mm double-sided tape to the back of this and stuck it down to the inked card base. I had placed clear and coloured sequins in the appropriate areas before adhering down the hearts panel.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from Sweet Cart Critters and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen.

The two sentiment stamps were from Warm Hugs and cut out with the coordinating die set.

Sending You Rainbow Hugs

 

Hello, DT Annalisa here! For my project today, I am sharing a sympathy card for some friends who recently lost their dog. Losing a loved one is always hard - I wanted to let them know I have been thinking about them. I used the Pawsome Dies with the Pawsome Rainbows 6x6' Paper Pad to create this card.

I die-cut a panel from white card stock using the A2 Layering dies. I used the medium paw die in the Pawsome Dies set and cut it into this panel twice. I added double-sided foam tape to the back of this panel and set it aside.

I stuck a piece of patterned paper from the Pawsome Rainbows 6x6' Paper Pad to an A2 white card base, ensuring it would fit behind the 3 3/4 inch panel with paws cut into it. I then took the panel with paws and stuck it over the patterned paper. 

 

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) the small dog from the Sweet Village stamp set and cut it with its' coordinating die.

The sentiment is from Get Whale Soon; I stamped 'sending you' and 'hugs' and die-cut these out with their coordinating dies.

I used liquid glue to stick the sentiments and dog to the card to complete it.

I Chews You

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! Did you know Time For Tea Designs is five years old this month?! Congratulations to Jo and Ant for their success. To celebrate, they are having a birthday sale! I am so grateful to have been on the design team since 2019. I have loved every minute of it, as it has brought me tremendous joy during some tough years in my life. 

Today, I am sharing a card that features the brand new Gummy Bears stamp set from the latest release that is now live on the website! 

I used the A2 Layering dies to cut one of the pieces of patterned paper from the Pawsome Rainbows 6x6' Paper Pad. It is such a beautiful paper pad with many bright and pretty patterns. I used liquid glue to stick this to an A2 white card base.

Next, I die-cut a 3 3/4 by 4 1/2 inch piece of white cardstock using a stitched rectangle die. I used a light hand-to-ink blend squeezed lemonade Distress Oxide using my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes to the center of the panel. I added splatter with a paintbrush, water and wild honey Distress Oxide ink. 

I stamped 'I chews you' in Versafine Onyx Black once the panel was dry and heat embossed with Icicle ultra fine embossing powder by Brutus Monroe (clear).

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from the Gummy Bears stamp set and cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e (so handy when you don't have coordinating dies!) I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. 

I used liquid glue to stick the stamped elements to the yellow panel. I then glued this to the card base and added three yellow enamel dots from the Sweet Summer Designer Enamel Dots collection to complete the card.

Rainy Day Hugs

Happy Friday, Annalisa here! I am sharing a cheerful 'hugs' card that features the Memory Keeping Essential Dies and Hogs & Kisses stamp set, both of these are part of the retiring collection - now is a great time to grab them as they are on sale!  

I used a stitched rectangle die to cut a beautiful piece of paper from the Pawsome Rainbows 6x6' Paper Pad. I added this to an A2 card base with double-sided tape. I used the same patterned paper to die-cut the Hugs Stitched Sentiment Die.

I cut the polaroid frame from the Memory Keeping Essential Dies into dark navy cardstock. I added a stitched border using a white Gelly Roll Pen. I used liquid glue to stick the 'hugs' sentiment to the frame.

I cut a white backer for the polaroid frame, to which I glued blue-coloured cardstock. I used the grass die from the Slimline Hillside Scene Dies to cut green cardstock and then glued it to the blue area. I then used liquid glue to stick the polaroid frame down on the backer area.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) the adorable pig with his umbrella from Hogs & Kisses and cut them out with their coordinating dies (also on sale!) I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. I glued the pig to the frame and its' backer sheet and then adhered this to the card base to complete the card.

Hey, Hello, Hi it's a rainbow!

 Hey there Tea-timer friends...

I hope you have all been having a fantastic Christmas time. I have been absolutely loving it, its definitely one of my most favourite times of the year! 

I thought I would change things up from Christmas cards for today and share a Hello greeting card...

This card uses these Time for Tea designs products :

- Hooray sentiment and cover plate die

- Hey, hello, hi dies

- Pawsome rainbows 6x6 paper pad

- Clear bubbles enamel dots 

To create this card I started bu selecting a piece of rainbow paper and die cutting it from the hooray cover plate. I then die cut all the shadows for the sentiments from black cardstock before die cutting the tops of the sentiments from different coloured card. The sentiment and the shadow were adhered together using liquid glue and then popped onto the card base with foam tape adding dimension. To complete the card I added clear bubbles enamel dots. 

I love how bright and cheerful this card is, perfect for a happy hello to a friend!!

 Hey Tea-timers...

DT Ashlee here today with some new T4T inspiration for you all!!

Do you like a bright cheerful card? If you answered yes to this you are definitely in the right place today because this card is full of bright colours!!

I wanted to make a happy and bright card to celebrate the recipients achievements...

These T4T products were used to make this card :

- Hooray sentiment and cover plate die

- Wide stitched frame die

- Pawsome rainbows 6x6 paper pad

To create this card I started with a piece of rainbow paper that I used for the card base. I then die cut a wide stitched frame from a tan coloured card stock before adhering to the base with foam tape to add dimension. 

Using the HOORAY word I die cut it from multiple colours of card stock to match all the colours used in the background paper. I then die cut it from black card stock so I could adhere behind each letter to add a shadow. Each letter was adhered with varying levels of foam tape. The card was completed with a mix of colourful sequins!!

Retro Phone Builder

Happy Thursday, Tea Timers!  It's Amanda here!  Today I'm sharing a "hello" card using the Retro Phone Builder Die Set!

To make this card, I cut my card base to 5.5"x8.5" and then folded it in half.  I trimmed a piece of Pawsome Rainbows Paper to 4"x5.25".  I glued the paper to my card base.  Next, I cut the pieces of my phone out using black and white cardstock. I also cut the "hello" out of the Hey, Hello, Hi Dies. For the white pieces that I wanted to be purple, I used Blueberry Cheesecake Color Hive Ink to ink blend those pieces.  I added some white highlights with a white gel pen.

I adhered my phone and sentiment together with liquid glue.  Then, I used 3D foam squares to pop them up and adhere them to my card front.

 

2 for 1 Cards with Amanda - Part 2

 

Happy Thursday, Tea Timers!  It's Amanda here!  Today, I am showing you Part 2 of my 2 for 1 Cards!

If you remember last week, I started with one sheet from the Pawsome Rainbows Paper Pad and the Stitched Window Cover Die.

For Part 2, I'm using the inside pieces of the frame! On a piece of white cardstock, I  used the Movie Star Stencil and Buttercream ink.

I'm also taking the "smile" sentiment from the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies.  For my other sentiment, I am using the Brighter Days Sentiment Cards.

I've stamped my images from the Hey There Critters Stamp Set and colored them with OLO Markers.  I've also die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Lastly, I've propped up my papers and images with 3D foam squares!

2 for 1 Cards with Amanda - Part 1

 

Happy Thursday, Tea Timers!  It's Amanda here!  Today, I am showing you Part 1 of my 2 for 1 Cards!

For my 2 for 1, I'm using one sheet from the Pawsome Rainbows Paper Pad and the Stitched Window Cover Die. Once I cut my paper with the die, I'm saving all the pieces!  I am going to use the frame on this Part 1 card and I'm going to save my insides for Part 2 (coming Oct 6th right here on the Time for Tea Blog!)

Next, I'm grabbing my Pawsome Prints Stencil, a black piece of cardstock, and Deco Foil Transfer Gel DUO.  Using a spatula, I have put the DUO gel through the stencil.  Next, is to wait an hour before we can add the foil!

After the DUO gel has gone clear and is now tacky, I can place my foil on top of my gel (shiny side up) and run it through my die cutting machine.  I'm also using the Hey, Hello, Hi Dies to create a sentiment and white shadow.

Now that I know where I'm going to place my stamps, I'm stamping my images from the Kitty Capers Stamp Set.  I'm coloring them with OLO Markers and then I can cut them out with the coordinating die set.

The next step is to attach the frame to the black background with 3D foam tape. I've also used 3D foam squares to prop up and adhere my stamped images and sentiments to the card.

Get well mini slimline with Ashlee

 Hey Tea-timers...

It's DT Ashlee here today, I hope you are all well and getting some beautiful weather like we had here in Tasmania today!! 

I've got a new mini slimline card to share with you all and I must say I think this mini slimline scallop die set by T4T would have to be one of my most favourites to use, its such a great size and so fun to create with...

For this card I've gone with a get well whale scene...

To create this card I started by die cutting the base of the mini slimline die from a green cardstock. I then adhered a piece of patterned paper to it from the Pawsome rainbows paper pad before adding the mini scalloped frame I die cut from a yellow cardstock over the top adhered with foam tape to add dimension. This completed the base and it was now onto the decorating...

I stamped, coloured and die cut a couple of the super cute whales and accessories from the Get whale soon set and then adhered them into place on the card base using foam tape because I love lots of dimension on my cards...

To complete the card I added a heat embossed sentiment and a touch of pretty sequins!!

What do you think about this one? it's always handy to have some get well soon cards on hand for any of those moments that a friend or loved one might need a little pick me up...

Don't Hide Your Pawsome Rainbows Paper!

Happy Thursday, Tea Timers!  It's Amanda here!  

Today, I'm showing you a card that showcases the Pawsome Rainbows Paper Pad!  You know when you love your paper so much you can't possibly think about covering it up!?  Well, that's how I feel about every page of this paper pad!  So, I've created this card using the Beach Buds Stamp Set.

First, I trimmed my paper down so that it fit my card base with a white border all around.  I then cut the smaller frame in the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies.

Next, I stamped my Beach Buds images and colored them with Copic markers.  Then, I cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I propped up my frame, images, and sentiment up with 3D foam tape.
